My husband and I came here for lunch the end of October and I ordered the Pork chop special. If you like the Iowa cut you'll love this large cut of pork chop! It easily fed both my husband and I. The owner/chef came out and talked with us a little and we got a price of French silk pie to go. Which when we ate it late that night was smooth, not to rich and delicious. We love the small town friendliness that comes with being able joke with the chef and small talk so this place was awesome for us.

I was excited to try this restaurant because the reviews seem to be really good, so I came here to get lunch with my mother today. The waitress on staff, Tasha, was very rude. We waited several minutes before being seated. Tasha tossed our cutlery sets onto the table and walked away. We were never given menus, and I had to get up and get one from by the door. We had to wait several minutes before she took our drink orders as well. She was very short with us, and never asked how the food was. We got two appetizers, which were average. My mom asked for cocktail sauce and when she brought it out, Tasha tossed the cup on to the table and walked away again without saying anything. It was a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience, and I’m sad to say we won’t be coming back.

Such a friendly, cozy environment. Limited seating but we've never had to wait long. Food is always super yummy and filling!

Small little cafe type joint... stopped for lunch and was not disappointed. Delicious Mac and cheese and fresh burgers. 10/10 would recommend!!

4 stars - great food but the waitress could use some personality lessons and some food lessons, particularly concerning steak orders, ie, what “pink” means. Menu had mini tacos; I made a mistake of thinking Mexican tacos; I ordered two (2). I got 16 mini tacos like I’ve never seen and the cost was absurd. On the road, ate there twice but probably not again.

Love this little place! The service was great, the menu had plenty breakfast items (that's when we went) to choose from. We ordered and were please with everything from choco chip pancake, loaded browns, egg+meat+toast, and french toast. The prices were excellent. The only complaint was there were SEVERAL flies.....I think this is just a South Dakota thing (nothing against the fine residents....kinda like the mosquito is my states official pest!). I'm sure that was no fault of the restaurants, just bothersome and annoying. A great place overall though!

They are very friendly. They gave us a heads up our food was going to take a few minutes. Very good food.

We arrived here to friendly faces and a clean pub. We ordered the Shepherds Pie with Soda bread and a patty melt. Both were AMAZING! We will come back here again next time we visit in the area!

We waited 35 minutes for eggs and bacon before leaving. Service was terrible. No refills were offered. After walking out of the restaurant, the manager followed us in to the parking lot with a bad attitude about us leaving.

This is a great mom and pop place for breakfast! Good food, good prices, good conversation. My club has come here twice for breakfast and we'll miss it when we ride back to Vegas.

Food was outstanding! I had a Philly, the wife had a pulled pork. Kids had the usual chicken strips. Everyone we encountered that worked there was friendly and welcoming! Would recommend to anyone. And the prices a very fair!

I had a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and bbq sauce with french fries as my side dish. The pepper jack cheese and bacon was not listed on the menu for this sandwich, yet the waitress allowed me to add it. The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was juicy with a good flavor. The fries were fresh cut with the perfect about of seasoning. My wife had a piece of cheesecake for desert and thought it was amazing. I should have ordered a piece of pie here. They looked really good.

I had seen the sign and was curious about the place. It shares a building with State Farm and seemed a bit strange how it might work. But the thought of pie for breakfast finally won out and I visited Mac's. I had a wonderful breakfast and talked with Mac for a while. My waiter ... dang... Ader??? Was a nice your man. A summer hire like most wait staff everywhere you go (does anyone live in this town?, why do they even have a high school???) was very friendly and talkative.
