Visiting from another state, we stayed in this little town. The menu had a lot of selections to choose from. We needed our food to be carry-out, and the staff was very patient and friendly on the phone to answer all of our questions. Food was prepped on time. After many limitations of finding food on a road trip, this dinner was a nice change and we enjoyed everything we ordered.

While on vacation we were looking for some place to eat. We came across Maria's and couldn't have been happier. We stopped in and found they were about to close for lunch, but the staff stuck around for us. My boys loved the food. Chicken Quesadilla was amazing. Had a nice crunch in the soft flour tortilla. I had the Barbacoa Tacos, and the home made corn tortilla was so good. Steak was delicious. Rice and beans were very authentic. All flavor was delivered. The Avacado sauce was very flavorful. Spicy sauce was very authentic as well. Would highly recommend to everyone. Hopefully I get to return and try more in the future. Sorry, I began eating before I decided to leave the review.Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate your needs for allergy. The staff did ask several times what can and can't be used due to family allergies.

Truly unexpected as I grew up on the Texas border. Friendly staff and order was fast also. Had a breakfast burrito and it was good. They were out of bacon so I got the sausage and it had good flavor.

We actually ate at their taco cart just down the street and the food was terrific. We are from Southern California and have not had good Mexican food anywhere East of Arizona. The chicken tacos were awesome and my wife had the tamales were great as well. Most places do not have tamales on the menu full time so that was nice to see. Great job!

Outstanding, home-made Mexican food. We ate at the restaurant and Anna, our server, was a delight and very responsive. I had the steak fajita burrito and my wife had the steak tacos. Both dishes were served hot and both were delicious. I will come back the next time I am in Custer. Don't miss Maria's.
