The Purple Pie Place is known for their homemade pies, but they are more than a dessert place. They also serve sandwiches, homemade specialties like chicken pot pie and soups and salads. We were tired of the usual bar food, and were craving good ole homemade sandwiches. Their BLT and chicken salad sandwiches hit the spot. We topped it off with a slice of peach pie and ice cream. Everything was very good. Service was good. We loved the decor and the homey feel of the restaurant. If you want a simple, yet tasty lunch, Purple Pie Place is the place for you.

We go here every time we are in the area. Just a trip back in time to ours the way we grew up! The Strawberry Rhubarb is amazing. Ice creme is just a huge plus. Fast and friendly service.

Lovely place to eat! The food was delicious(we had the turkey bacon panini, the chicken pot pie, and the kids had Mac n cheese), the place was clean, the server was quick and friendly. We didn’t get to try dessert but it also Looked delish!

Chicken pot pies are awesome. The pies are beyond amazing. Try the raspberry, rhubarb, jalapeño. Best pie I have ever eaten. Service is great.
We visited September 18th. While this place is super cute/quaint and the food was really good... their customer service isn't the friendliest. From the waitress working the back room to the 2 girls who ran the ice cream counter and cash register... all were quite rude during our lunch time visit. The back waitress didnt come to our table once on her own...I had to get up and go to her for things we needed. And when I asked questions of her, she seemed inconvenienced and annoyed. Maybe she was having a bad day ...but working in customer service...she didnt seem a good fit for the job. I'd go back for the food....but have to go in with very low expectations for customer service or friendliness.

Before visiting this area I found The Purple Pie Place so put it on our list to visit. It's a charming Purple house with great soups and pulled pork. For dessert we had a hot fudge sundae which could have used more hot fudge. Great selections of pies which made it had to choose. Also a large selection of ice cream flavors.

If you want great food and friendly service please stop at Purple Pie Place. Our food was delicious and the small town service was the best. Let me tell you the pie was the best I ever had. If you are there for lunch or dinner I recommend the potpie. The chicken salad sandwich was also very good. I was in town as part of Operation Black Hills Cabin. Thank you Purple Pie Place for supporting their program and for supporting wounded veterans.
