Every staff member I encountered was so friendly and eager to assist. The location was excellent to Main Street Deadwood. The rooms were very spacious and even had high ceilings. Wish I would have had more time to relax here. Would highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay here. I would suggest some bath mats for those nice new showers - very, very slippery and dangerous. Put a towel down before stepping in! The lobby being on floor two is odd. The entrance is the floor below. Weird setup!

This hotel is right on main street which makes it easy to "hit the town" there is a casino below the lobby so it is a little extra added fun! The rooms are clean and modern and the front desk staff is so friendly. Love this new addition to Deadwood!

We started out the trip with their small parking ramp was full, and I had to drive around to find a parking spot at a public lot. Such a drag to start out your vacation wtih a parking hassle. Everyone charges $15 a day for parking which is such a rip off for a small town. The property was nice, clean and modern. Very cool patio with this very long gas fireplace. I paid almost $200 a night and they didn't even have a free breakfast, I thought that was very chintzy. I was charged for hotel parking even though I didn't park there, I caught it on my bill after my stay and they fixed it but that was not welcome. I had to call for towels and other items, housekeeping did not clean my room. At $200 a night you should get daily housekeeping without asking. The casino was decent with a good selection of machines. While overall the stay was ok, the lack of breakfast, difficult parking and high price of the room marred the experience. The odds of winning in the casino slots were much worse than Vegas or MN Casinos. It was fun walking the historic streets but I am not coming back anytime soon. Good place to visit once, just to see the historic town and buildings, but not for repeat visits. I could have gotten a room in Vegas for way less and won a lot more money.

The room was nice and clean and new looking. Decor was nice and TV was big. Comfortable bed. Air conditioner didn’t work too well. They didn’t have a free continental breakfast, just a pay breakfast restaurant. Price was fairly high so I felt it was very chintzy not to give us a free breakfast. Nice patio with a cool flame fireplace. Parking is expensive at $20 a day, it’s cheaper at the public lot a Ross the street at $12 a day. Finding a perking spot is difficult in Deadwood so once you park you should walk around Deadwood, and keep your spot.Everything is walkable from this hotel. A nice stay, but a few problems as noted.

Stayed for our 44th wedding anniversary, and wanted a special hotel. No upgrades were offered, but no biggie. Nice sized room was clean and modern, but I wouldn't call it luxurious. Comfy beds. One easy chair and a very small desk with chair. Nice big walk in shower. Breakfast was quite good, but not complimentary. Average price $12 per entree. For the price of the room, I would hope a free breakfast would be included. Very expensive hotel room for what it is. A few reviews had mentioned parking was a problem, and hard to find the valet. We did not have that experience. Valet parking easy to find. We were lucky to get a space in the small parking garage. Other parking across the street. Cost to park is $20 per day. Parking is at a premium in Deadwood, so I guess I understand why they charge for it. The gentleman parking cars was super nice and helpful. Location great for walking along the main street where a lot of the restaurants and bars are located. Staff was very nice and accommodating. A solid choice, but not exactly a great value, in my opinion. I wouldn't mind paying the high price for a luxurious room, but this was not. A pleasant stay, though. Just not as special as we had hoped for our anniversary celebration.

The hotel was nice. I checked tripadvisor for Deadwood generally before booking and nowhere did I see that deadwood was a cross between Altantic city, Las Vegas and Nashville with some neon Disney thrown in. If that’s what you are looking for - this is a great hotel. You will have a frustrating experience finding parking and walking around in Nature because this town isn’t about that. In fact, it was hard to find a green space just for my dog could go potty. I never expected this in the beauty of South Dakota. My bad….

The hotel is in a nice location. Overall, the lobby and casino were clean. A nice area on the second floor has a balcony and a relaxing seating area. The parking situation could be better. The hotel needs more parking spaces to accommodate the guests in the hotel. We never found a parking spot in the garage during our four-day stay. A parking lot is available across the street, but it is not ideal. It also has limited spaces, and the spaces are very close together. The cleanliness of the hotel rooms was a problem. I booked three rooms. Each one of the rooms had something less than desirable in it. Room 1: Inside a drawer was a pair of socks/panties with poop on it. Room 2: Inside the microwave was a bottle of alcohol. Room 3: The coffee cup had leftover napkins and coffee creamer in it. When I notified the front desk about this (and showed them pictures), I was given free parking, which wasn't helpful because we couldn't park at the hotel and "play money" at the casino. When I reported the "Poop Socks/Panties, " the staff member did not offer to send someone to retrieve them but only asked if we wanted to switch rooms; therefore, we had to remove them from the room. We chose not to switch because there were no available rooms close to my others and did not have the same bedding arrangement. I was told that housekeeping would clean our rooms the next day. The rooms were not cleaned. The beds were made, but the trash was not emptied, and the bathrooms were never cleaned. At check-in, I was told that our rooms would be thoroughly cleaned on the third day. This did not occur either. In the bathroom, the dirty towels were removed but were not replaced. The beds were also not made.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay at. There is parking available and you are on historic Main Street. So can walk everywhere. We were checked in by Hunter who was friendly, informative and efficient. My room was clean and comfortable. In the evening we enjoyed the seating, gas fireplace and games. Breakfast was good and quick. Paul was friendly and did a great job serving us. Brooklyn checked us out and was friendly and helpful. Good snacks and beverages to buy in lobby. We enjoyed this property!
