“Stopped for breakfast this morning for the first time. Have had the lunch and dinner menu plenty of times. Service was well above average, food was amazing, portions were plentiful. Definitely worth the drive in the weather.”

“Whiskey River Co. is a great stop in Deadwood. We popped in looking for a gift for a whiskey connoisseur in our life and ended up finding the perfect bottle along with a couple of Deadwood glass tumblers to bring home.

The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! If you enjoy whiskey, bourbon, or are looking for a unique gift, I’d definitely recommend stopping in.”

“Great bands played while we were there on a Monday and Tuesday night. We were glad to have found the place lively during our stay in Deadwood even though it wasn't the weekend. Awesome atmosphere and service too!”

“Absolutely fantastic! We’ve eaten here a few times before and it’s always been good, but tonight was excellent. My wife and I shared a ribeye and macadamia crusted halibut. I’m picky on both of those entrees and they didn’t disappoint. The halibut was cooked absolutely perfect (not overcooked) and the sauce was one that I’m going to have to figure out at home for my walleye. Thanks for the awesome meal. We will be back!”

“We were in Saturday for a late birthday lunch and it was absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal, everyone in our group loved what they ordered, but beyond that our server Austin was amazing. We were a little rowdy and he was great at putting up with our nonsense and was so much fun but also very knowledgeable and made great food recommendations. I had a burger that Austin recommended and it was delicious! We also really enjoyed the bar tender too but unfortunately I didn’t get her name. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!”

“Did it right, got there early. Steak medium rare. An amazing experience and thank FLL we picked it. Nicole our server was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable with recommendations. For the manager, my only recommendation would be to have the hostess a little more welcoming and concerned about their job and maybe better communication about what to do before you get the test to go down stairs before “everyone “ gets the same text at opening. I didn’t have an issue but many were complaining about the disorganization. Will definitely be back in a next visit and no doubt a recommendation to others if you are unsure. This was also on a Kool nights week day 1.”

“I was doing some sight seeing in Deadwood SD and happen to run into Durty Nellys and man was I happy about having a few drinks there. The service was impeccable and I even had a tour and learned about the history of the bar and the town. The drinks were great and the vibe was better. Alex was my bartender and you couldn't ask for a better one in town. She's great! You might fall in love with this place, I know I did.”

“We finally had time to go in to lou Lou’s with or 1 year old the ladies who work there are so kind and sweet and the service was wonderful we found our new spot to enjoy a treat or a wonderful lunch . the food was so delicious and you get so much for such a good price .it felt like you was walking into grandmas kitchen with wonderful ladies who greeted us they are so kind and made our food so fast . They just made you feel so welcomed highly recommend and the coffee was sooo good what a hidden gem in our small mountain town .”

Our waitress was friendly and funny. She made our experience even more enjoyable. Cute little cafe that was once a service station.”

“The bar is perfect for groups and fun. Small entrance up stairs above Jaks. Drinks are amazing super cheep and bar tender is fun and super nice. We came here for the first time sons 21st birthday. We loved it. Get your group and head to it. You wont regret it.”

“This is a burger joint and they make good burgers. Service was great and we got food into the 13 year old who was starving. We tried the fried mushrooms appetizer and they were good. There is a good beer list of local beers in tap, plus bottles. Soft drinks are served in huge plastic cups.”
