“This place is a great addition to Deadwood. There aren't a lot of quality options for a quick lunch but this one takes the crown. Fresh ingredients, quick and friendly staff and it's right inside Tin Lizzie with lots of parking right across the street. Great place for lunch.“

If you need calories to bike ride the Michelson Trail. Also, don't even visit during hell-week of mororcycling. Extremely expensive and crowded.“

“I rolled through the drive thru late at night after a super long day of traveling and the service was incredibly fast. The staff was smiling and nice even though it was almost midnight. My cheesy gordita crunch and crunchy tacos were hot and hit the spot perfectly. It is exactly what you want when you need a quick and satisfying bite to eat.“

“We only went through the drive-through, but we were amazed at how good our main menu items were! If you know Taco Johns, you know the differences between some of the franchises. Well, whoever is putting the food together for this one gets a gold medal (gold medals if multiple people). Good service too.“

“We are on vacation and when we stopped for groceries at Walmart and saw the A&W we knew it was somewhere we wanted to eat. We had just eaten so we decided we would come back another time. Today after taking sometime in the Black Hills we decided it was time for a little nostalgia, BUT what we got was so much more!!! The chicken strips were just about perfect, the fries were fresh and the root beer was.... the best root I have ever had from a fountain. The two guys working were outstanding. Dylan took our order, then when the root beer didn't look right, he quickly fixed it. Kevin was in the back cooking and he was working hard. The store had plenty of traffic while we were there and those two guys worked quickly and seamlessly to get everyone taken care of. Hands down the best fast food experience I have had in long time.“

“Restaurant has absurdly poor communication, and I've hit a point where I'm reluctant to order due to how variable the situation will be. This seems to be a cultural norm in Spearfish, though. That being said, the food is generally good. They really load the tacos, which is probably my only complaint about the food. The point of tacos is to eat less, not to eat more. Place is reasonably clean, reasonably nice, and enjoyable enough to keep coming back.“

“Great flow of customers around noon, which shows it's a local favorite. We ordered the meal of the day (Ultimate BLT footlong) with a drink and 2 cookies—all under $10. Perfect for two people on a budget. Conveniently located right across from the Lead Sanford Visitor Center.

“Went in this morning (Sunday July16,2023) for breakfast around 0845. And an elderly man in his late 70’s was there. He was so confused and asked the young man behind the register about 50 questions about different foods, what was on them, how they tasted, took probably 15 minutes to finally order only to have his card rejected as invalid. I paid for his meal. But the young man behind the register was so kind and patient, and polite to this old guy. When the young man got back to the drive up window, customers were screaming at him for making them wait, not knowing how genuinely kind this young man had just been to a confused elderly man. I hope all of Spearfish can hear about this young man and lift him up as a genuinely kind, patient, polite person to this kinda crazy old man this morning. Good on ya Spearfish Burger King!!!“
