“This restaurant does a good job achieving the standards you expect out of an Arby's. The food is always good, and some of the staff really take courtesy and communication seriously, which is a refreshing breath of fresh air in 2024. The 2 for 7 deal is fantastic.“

“I am from Belle Fouce. Since the Taco John’s in my area closed I decided to try the Taco John’s in Spearfish. I came in Monday evening with my husband, there was seemingly one employee handling the front area, a shorter woman with black hair wearing heavy makeup. She took our order and made our food and it seemed she was also trying to take other orders. She was very sweet and patient and made our food very quickly despite being busy handling things on her own. She also answered our questions kindly and was very attentive while we were ordering. We appreciated the kind and quick service we received from this lady and will be coming back to this Taco John’s.“

“Restaurant has absurdly poor communication, and I've hit a point where I'm reluctant to order due to how variable the situation will be. This seems to be a cultural norm in Spearfish, though. That being said, the food is generally good. They really load the tacos, which is probably my only complaint about the food. The point of tacos is to eat less, not to eat more. Place is reasonably clean, reasonably nice, and enjoyable enough to keep coming back.“

“Went in this morning (Sunday July16,2023) for breakfast around 0845. And an elderly man in his late 70’s was there. He was so confused and asked the young man behind the register about 50 questions about different foods, what was on them, how they tasted, took probably 15 minutes to finally order only to have his card rejected as invalid. I paid for his meal. But the young man behind the register was so kind and patient, and polite to this old guy. When the young man got back to the drive up window, customers were screaming at him for making them wait, not knowing how genuinely kind this young man had just been to a confused elderly man. I hope all of Spearfish can hear about this young man and lift him up as a genuinely kind, patient, polite person to this kinda crazy old man this morning. Good on ya Spearfish Burger King!!!“
