“For “fast food” this place is amazing! The food was fresh, quick and Sully (not sure if that’s how his name is spelled) but he was great at his job. Super helpful with menu questions and he was very friendly, genuine and inviting when we placed our order.“

“Went in this morning (Sunday July16,2023) for breakfast around 0845. And an elderly man in his late 70’s was there. He was so confused and asked the young man behind the register about 50 questions about different foods, what was on them, how they tasted, took probably 15 minutes to finally order only to have his card rejected as invalid. I paid for his meal. But the young man behind the register was so kind and patient, and polite to this old guy. When the young man got back to the drive up window, customers were screaming at him for making them wait, not knowing how genuinely kind this young man had just been to a confused elderly man. I hope all of Spearfish can hear about this young man and lift him up as a genuinely kind, patient, polite person to this kinda crazy old man this morning. Good on ya Spearfish Burger King!!!“
“This what's called a Ghost Kitchen. The franchise rents kitchen use from another restaurant and takes orders for pickup or delivery. There is no store-front and you can't order from the restaurant they rent kitchen space from, but it is there. Its available on door dash and likely other delivery apps.“

“They have made many improvements to this store in the years including an updated more modern exterior but they did away with the play place and I had alot of fond memories of it. Kind of sad it was one of the few places where you could eat and take your kid to a fun park like place. They did the same in Sturgis as well. I am not sure why they did this as they didn't expand the store outward as it is still the original size.“

“In the final years of my mother’s life, there were a few folks who showed up for her in ways I’ll never forget nor be able to repay. Two of them are Bob and Laurie Godich — the owners and operators of The Original Spearfish Breakfast House. They were more than just friends to her. They were kind, compassionate, generous, and steadfast in ways that can only be described as selfless and good. Not performatively good. Not self-servingly good. Just. They're just genuinely good people — the kind of people this world desperately needs more of. If you’re in Spearfish — if you believe the kind-hearted, generous people among us deserve to be supported — I’d love for you to swing by The Original Spearfish Breakfast House, enjoy a hearty breakfast, lunch, or just a cup of coffee. Even if you just pop your head in the door, say hi, and let Bob and Laurie know the difference people like them make in your community simply by being who they are. And it's not just Bob and Laurie. Their manager Chris and the rest of the staff all contribute to making Spearfish the kind of place that makes a town feel like home. And even though I live in Topeka, KS, there will always be a little bit of Spearfish that feels like home, thanks to Bob and Laurie Godich, Chris, and the rest of the folks at The Original Spearfish Breakfast House.“
