“This restaurant was recommended by the hotel I was staying at in Sturgis. What a pleasant surprise to find after a long day of travel. I had the pot roast bowl and it was amazing! I will definitely stop in again the next time I pass through.”

“This is a must-see in the Black Hills! As frequent visitors to the area, we're always looking for something new to do/try, and Belle Joli Winery Sparkling House is now a stop we will recommend to others and make again ourselves when we're back! We booked the Platinum Experience tour and were greeted by Choi and Stella, who immediately made us feel welcome. Our tour began inside with Jackie, who set the stage for our time outside, where Bob (Go Big Red!) shared the start-to-finish growing to harvesting process. Back inside, Jackie explained how they produce their sparkling wines, and then we enjoyed several sparkling wines, red wines, and a port along with a meat and cheese tray. We also sampled a couple of their white wines and enjoyed a salmon and dill flatbread. Everyone was so attentive, friendly, and patient as we asked questions, and Matthew, the winemaker, even joined us for a short time. The afternoon we spent at the Sparkling House with Choi, Stella, Matthew, Jackie, and Bob will be one of our favorite memories from our more than 30 years of traveling to the Black Hills! We're thrilled to support such great people and an excellent product!”

Service was prompt and friendly...Kerri Jo was our server. We enjoyed the hometown feel and welcoming environment. Local art on the walls and some really cool merchandise. Can't wait to rock my new sweatshirt! Pam and Jody in the gift shop were absolutely wonderful. Cant wait to go back. What a great local gathering place!”

“Rudest bartender ever. Came during the rally and have never experienced such a hostile and unwelcoming vibe. 8-1-24 at 7 o'clock. Will never ever go there again and I suggest you don't if you want to enjoy yourself.”

“We had the brisket plate and the pulled pork plate. The brisket was mostly grizzle but the flavor was good. Pork was good okay needed a bit of sauce which was yum. Baked beans okay, Mac an cheese very good. Blue cheese salad dressing out of a bottle not good. Fries good.
It wasn’t crowded at all but service was a little slow.
We’d go back but would try others first.”

“We worked with Shelby to make our wedding cakes, and she did an amazing job! We had three separate cakes with different flavors, and they tasted fantastic! I wanted more of a vintage style cake, and I showed her a picture of some examples I had found on Pinterest, and she delivered!”

“Not just a bar. Very clean- they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, coffee is always available. They play all the games for sports. People are usually very kind and when people get of hand it is dealt in concern to everyone. They have nice pool tables, dart boards. Booths for family dining, touch tunes.

They do their best to accommodate and serve. It is a great environment as there is no pressure to drink.

“The guy I’d assume who’s the manager at this location with the beard net is fantastic. The food was hot and fresh, his service was great and the kitchen was clean and tidy. His customer service was very professional. We had one small issue and he addressed it immediately and without even having to ask. This taco John’s is one of the best run I’ve ever visited. Great job, and take care of the guy with the beard, he’s really taking great care of your business and customers.”

“I stopped by this location for a quick lunch while driving through the area and it was a fantastic experience. The chicken strip basket I ordered came out burning hot and perfectly crispy, and the french fries were salted just right. Of course, I couldn't leave without getting an Oreo blizzard, and the worker flipped it completely upside down right in front of me to prove how thick it was before handing it over. The inside of the restaurant was clean, the booths were wiped down, and the employees working the counter were incredibly friendly and fast. It is exactly what you want when you are craving a solid meal and a great ice cream treat.”
