“I walked into this place expecting something else than what it was. An open area that doesn't even resemble Italian. The music playing was oriental or something, Definitely not Italian. You order your dish at the counter. I think it is more of a take out dishes. We had three daily dishes to choose from. You then get a slice of the dish that gave me an impression that it came from a frozen package came out of the freezer section from Sam's club. It was sliced and then heated in the microwave. Then serve in a aluminum take out dish. Now dont get me wrong. The food was good. It could have been hotter. The host offered to heat it up again. But, if you cant get it right the first time don't offer to correct your mistake. If you are looking for a pre-made Italian dish, this is the place for you. Sorry about the review but Im honest.”

“This was super cute little place. I had the stuffed French toast. That was good but the home made berry syrup made the dish. I got a side of bacon that was a very generous portion and my latte was lovely. My husband had the biscuits and gravy which he said were good as well.

The building is cool and fits right in with the whole look and feel of Lead.

Very nice staff who took great care of us.

I think next time we are in Lead I will have to try an apple fritter with my coffee.”

“Super cute brewery with a relatively large beer garden. Good unique beers and dangerously delicious mead. Cookies and popcorn were icing on the cake. The cookie was large and so delicious, both chewy and crunchy. Highly recommend stopping in!”

Bathroom was not great. As someone who tries not to touch anything, I could not get away with this one. 2/5 for spaciousness in the stall. 1/5 for flushing. It had a sign to hold the handle down, and i did (with my foot, because ew) and it didn’t fully flush the first time. The smell was not great either. Could use a good deep cleaning. I kept the review 4 stars because the floor wasn’t sticky and if you don’t use the bathroom, there isn’t much to complain about.

It is part casino so my hopes weren’t high, but the stalls were small and that was enough to warrant a review. It was a fun atmosphere and I still recommend visiting for the experience!!”

“We were in Saturday for a late birthday lunch and it was absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal, everyone in our group loved what they ordered, but beyond that our server Austin was amazing. We were a little rowdy and he was great at putting up with our nonsense and was so much fun but also very knowledgeable and made great food recommendations. I had a burger that Austin recommended and it was delicious! We also really enjoyed the bar tender too but unfortunately I didn’t get her name. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!”

Service was prompt and friendly...Kerri Jo was our server. We enjoyed the hometown feel and welcoming environment. Local art on the walls and some really cool merchandise. Can't wait to rock my new sweatshirt! Pam and Jody in the gift shop were absolutely wonderful. Cant wait to go back. What a great local gathering place!”

“Wait staff was good, but we ordered the brisket queso sandwich. Way too soggy, it was difficult to eat. It wasn’t bad, but needs tweaked. Why not serve the queso brisket on corn chips? I have had better sandwiches at Mavericks that are no longer on the menu.”

“First time dining at this restaurant. Don't be late- 5 min grace. Our dining experience was simply outstanding. First and foremost, the service is unbelievably attentive and friendly. The restaurant's atmosphere is very classy and resides on the top floor of a historic hotel. It thrives in a beautiful art-deco/western inspired space which overlooks the main street in town. We started with the SD Chislic appetizer and immediately were impressed. This is a delicious pepper-berry angus beef treat that comes out sizzling perched atop fried scallions. Moving on to the mains, we ordered the Macadamia Halibut and lobster tails. Both, very good however the the halibut was the award winner of the night. This dish makes me wish I had ordered 2. The nutty crunch and delicate, moist fish bite is something that I can't stop thinking about. It's truly a phenomenal dish. The "spring roll" may sound odd as a pairing but it kicks it in high gear delicious as an accompaniment. Memorable restaurant for it's food and atmosphere! A+”
