Ordered ice tea that was water. Waitress was rude and argued that it was in fact tea(first clue to leave…). Drank my water and ordered a fish sandwich. Later upon needing a refill the waitress did admit her error and refilled it with tea. Chicken ceasar salad, fish sandwich, and 20 bone in wings and two teas( water). Was 80.00 before tip. Worst place we ate on vacation

Ate her August 19/24, our waitress was Sami and she was fantastic. I have celiac and she was great at helping me navigate the menu as she said she has several food allergies. She even brought over a menu she has written on outlining what foods were safe that she took the time to make herself. She was very kind and provided us great service. Unfortunately the restaurant does not offer a gluten free bread/bun option. Really too bad as there are many people who have to miss out.

I ordered a medium to rare steak it came out well done and I mean done. Another steak at my table was more red than mine at medium. Also my baked potato was cold and hard couldn't melt butter to soften it nor adding sour cream. I left the steak on the table with rare sticker which was placed in it when brought to table. Didn't get to say anything about it because table didn't want to make a scene another person paid for it, myself wouldn't have and would have asked to make it right that isn't causing a scene to get what you ask for. When going I really had high hopes for a good meal. I got a salad in a small cafeteria bowl and that was about what I had for lunch that day. If I'm ever in Deadwood again I definitely won't eat there. Waitress was nice she moved there from Florida hope she does good there.

If you want to go back in time, stopping in here for a beer (not Bud Lite) is a must to absorb its history.

For one of these places that are typical in Deadwood, I liked it because the atmosphere was chill. Nice place to rest your ears a bit and get full.

I wouldn’t recommend the place for steak or prime rib. The steak was so tough, it was hard to even cut and no flavor. I ordered medium but I don’t know why the outside was so tough. The prime rib was, at best, mediocre. I did bring up the steak problem, to a person in a red shirt, and said, it’s ok, I don’t blame you.I guess he didn’t advise the manager. We had to call him over because they tried to charged us for a shot, that we never ordered. I would not recommend the place
