Thankfully they were here. Some of the girls really needed the pause that refreshed. 🙏 😌 #Relief #Girls #Break
We stayed across the road and made a point to have breakfast there the first morning before we hit the trails. Becky was the nicest !! Food was excellent and they had everything else we needed from fuel for the machines , ice , snacks and so on. We ate breakfast there all but one day while on vacation , it was that good.
Very nice accommodations, all the hooks one would need easy access back row gives a wide open view of meadow and pine tree. Centrally located Rapid City 24 miles Lead and Deadwood 13 miles away.
This campground was right off the main road with easy in and out access. The grounds were immaculate and the gravel road leading into was well compacted making it easy for motorcycles. The had 91 on the fuel pump outside which made it easy to refuel bikes after a ride. The bathrooms were very well maintained and well stocked with constant hot water for showers. The breakfast burritos they had ready to go every morning and we also ate a few meals in the bar/restaurant that’s there. All in all a great time and amazing grounds.
Called about using their dump station and was told $20 to dump and $20 to fill..... highway robbery, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Went in to dump today and 4 employees collectively told me, nope, not here! I double checked the number and sure enough, yeah, that's who I called, so we made plans around them and had to head home with a full belly!
Michelle is fantastic. Super friendly and cares about her customers. If you are looking for a location to stay at near Deadwood/Black Hills look no further. It is a safe place base your vacation out of. Five stars all day.
This campground is perfect. It’s clean and well taken care of. The owner and staff clearly want to make their customers stay stress free and welcoming. The food is great. It’s served piping hot! We love to ride the OHV trails. There are 3 trailheads very close to camp. There’s fuel, food, supplies, and the nicest people that you’ll ever meet. We definitely love Custers Crossing and will be back next year. I just feel so At home there. Thank you, Michelle. Honestly, you are the most thoughtful and the hardest worker!!! Thank you again.
I was on the road from BillingsMT and called the day before to reserve a site and got it. Stayed 3 days. A quiet and peaceful place. Mark and Michelle, owners and hosts, were warm, inviting and friendly. Restaurant food was the best I had in 10 days of travel. I will be back. 🤠
Chill vibes, great view, economic,I will stay again
I would give this place 5 stars if they weee honest and detailed that there is zero cell service in this camp ground and no WiFi ANYWHERE but the main lodge shop. If advertising WiFi they should list that it’s not throughout the campground. Sites need to be cleaned a bit better too, dog poop everywhere. Staff is nice and it’s quite minus the road traffic. The motorcycles driving through can be very loud as you are right in the main road.
Restaurantji Recommends
I initially booked 3 nights. I stayed a week. Michelle and her crew were awesome. This place is dog friendly and a great place to stay. It's close to quite a few attractions as well as utv trails. I will return next year. Thanks for a great time Michelle!
Michelle and her staff provide excellent customer service. People are treated like family. The food is always wonderful. Highly recommend this place!
This is a nice place, complete with a small store, restaurant, showers, and fire pits. They have RV hook ups, mini cabins or you can pitch a tent. It is close to the highway, with a gas pump and they have ATV Side by sides for rent. I would describe it as adult utility more so than for family. The staff is the best and it is operated very well.
Nice little spot to get just what you need. Friendly staff and very clean. Good coffee too! Nightcrawlers for sale!
Custer Crossing was an absolute blessing during Turkey Camp 2025. Thank you Michelle!
