This was our first time camping there and it was amazing. The staff all were amazing as well. The campground and facilities were very clean. We have already booked for next year can't wait to go back.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They didn't complain when my 4 year old gradaughter through her fish back in the pond by mistake. The food was very good - frys, coleslaw, fish and cheese burgers. There were games to play and room to play them without bothering other guests. We enjoyed our time at the restaurant!

My wife and I were heading back to Keystone from Spearfish Canyon trip. We were doing a week long tour of the MT Rushmore and surrounding area . We are from central Texas. We decided to stop in and check out. So glad that we did. You could either catch your own trout or they would cook some freshly caught trout for you. We met a couple working the site believe that were from Conroe , Texas. They were very friendly. I am embarrassed because I remember the husband's name( Steven), but I do not remember the wifes name. She explained to me when our cooked trout was brought out how to eat the trout. I had never had any before. She was very informative. Thank you. Service was Great, and place was Great. If you ever are in the area put into your gps and stop in. Thanks again. We enjoyed place and meal. Frank

Sweet folks at this restaurant serves good foods. We normally cook because our food is great, but fellow campers said there food was delicious. They were right! We've had 3 tasty breakfasts here-- chicken fried steak with gravy and eggs, fresh trout, and biscuits and gravy. We don't normally eat trout, but they showed us how to debonair it, and it was amazing! We haven't had dinner here, but it's always busy.

What a great idea, “fish ‘n fry”! The kids were so excited and are already asking to return. It was the most friendly place! Mr. Stephen was super patient in helping the kids fish. Though we eventually got rained out, we enjoyed the pizza, appetizers and Philly cheesesteak. Definitely a highlight to our trip!

I think the fish referenced here are sardines packed into a very small space. RV rigs look like they are lined up as if in a sales lot. Bigger rigs with slides were 10 to 15 feet apart. Was told that the park was laid out long ago before RV rigs got big. Time to update, or restrict sizes. Our rig is only 27 feet (including hitch and bumper) and had to squeeze in to our site and could not easily use the dump station. Should not have to count on people being nice and understanding to have a pleasant time.
This was a lot of fun. Just drop in and ask to go fishing. Everything is provided and you just pay per inch for a rainbow trout 85 cents. Stephen and his beautiful wife were absolute gems. He made sure the kids knew how to cast and kept an eye on them while chatting with us. They will clean the fish and pack it in ice if you want to take it home or alternatively they can prepare it for you right on the spot.

My review of this place is only compared to other places we stayed on our month long journey, not the places we stayed around this area. So first thing is pretty tight to fit our 5th wheel backing in, definitely need to find a place to park your car in most cases, which they did have some parking areas available at the site. Showers and bathrooms were not clean. Showers were $.25 per 7 minutes and not enough space at all. Very old kind showers, and you don’t get to control the temperature of the water. Doesn’t have much to offer other then nature, like most of them around. Make sure to look at the map to pick your site for this campground. Pretty tight to get in the campground as well and get out. Do your search for better spacious campground I would suggest. Seems like they had a decent restaurant at site, since there were people dining inside, we didn’t. Laundry room machines were pretty old as well. Will not be our choice next time at all

We all had a amazing time at the Fish"n"fry today! The kiddos got to fish for their first time ever and it was cooked to perfection!! The staff here is truly the best!!

Originally made the reservation for 6 nights. When we arrived, they were doing a lot of construction with heavy equipment. I immediately advised them that we would probably only be staying 2 nights because of heavy equipment and renovations. They refused to refund any of the nights. They were also only 1/4 full; so, it's not like they could have rented out the site to someone else. Heavy equipment very loud and started at 6:46 a.m. So, dusty and loud, you couldn't even sit outside.

This was a great place to stay with our 2 kids (over age 10) and 1yr old puppy. We stayed in a tiny house cabin (The Chalet) that had electricity and a little space heater. Beds Large enough for about 5ppl. It was our pups first camping experience and she loved it. The entire camp area is ‘small dog’ friendly and the pet fee was only $10. Bathroom and showers are in a separate area but easy to get to and very clean. You can fish for your dinner and they’ll cook it. They were very accommodating with our daughters peanut allergy and the fish tasted fantastic. The staff are all so friendly. Definitely recommend if you enjoy roughing it a bit in a glamping type setting. So pretty.
