I have been coming here for a year and a half. This is hands down the best place for me to dine. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. The waiters are also fantastic. Shout out to their whole team!

I recently dined at Quadalajar’s in Deadwood located in Cadillac Jacks and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing due to the terrible service. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the staff was disorganized and inattentive. We waited over 20 minutes just to receive our drinks. Each of us in our party had to constantly remind the waitress for simple refills that would take awhile. At one point in time we were the only party in the restaurant and still took a long period of time to receive some service.

The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested in providing a pleasant dining experience. Our waitress was not well informed if select entrees were hot or spicy. One of our party members had to bite the bullet and eat their spicy meal as they didn’t like spicy food and didn’t want to wait an additional 20 minutes for a new meal to be cooked. To top it off, the servers were unapologetic and even a bit rude when we pointed out the mistakes.

Overall, the poor service overshadowed what could have been a decent meal. I hope the management addresses these issues, as the restaurant has potential but needs significant improvements in customer service.

The waitress was the worst. She didn’t pay attention to the table and forgot to fill our drinks up multiple times. Our alcoholic drinks didn’t come until the food got there and they were just sitting at the bar. She literally didn’t care. She has braces so the owners know who I am talking about. She also tried to tack $30 on to the ticket for a tip and it was just added to the total and not showing it was gratuity and our party was only 4 people. Legit fraud going on and who knows how long they have been doing it. I saw on a couple of other reviews where this was done as well. It is sad because we enjoy the spearfish location. I really hope the owners figure this out. Cadillac Jacks is an amazing place and we go there a lot. It is sad this restaurant is in their facility the way they treat people. Cadillac Jacks customer service is always top notch. The manager on duty refunded the $30 they tried to overcharge with a terrible attempt at an apology. Definitely beware going there.

We had dinner here and it was literally the worst service I I think I have had in a very long time at any restaurant. Our waitress did not give a crap about our requests. It took forever to get orders in and drinks. Will not eat here again!

We have been here a few times and it has been great; great food, great service, the whole works. Tonight was a different story. Waitress was horrible. She not only had a hard time understanding what we wanted to order, but anything we wanted, was not available. No pork, carnitas, no carne asada, etc. That part was not her fault likely, but added to the negative experience. Once we finally decided on a plate, we placed our drink and food order; she messed up our drinks twice; second time was still wrong but we dealt with it. Food comes, 2 out of 3 plates were wrong. Food was good overall, but she never was attentive as a server the rest of the time, and had to wait over 15 minutes for a check that I had to go to the front to figure out as she ignored us. Got the check with no comment, check was wrong; had to go back up front to fix it. Ruined the night. Overall do not recommend anymore until they find competent staff.

Reading the reviews, I am surprised by the negative ones. Seated quickly, friendly staff, timely food both in ordering & receiving, food was tasty & although not a huge portion of rice and beans, an adequate amount. It’s attached to a casino so I can’t blame them for the noise and lack of a directed entrance (a tad confusing) and surprising to be in a Sports Bar/Mexican restaurant but I’m the one that chose a restaurant in a casino (due to travel) and we certainly weren’t disappointed.

Food was barely edible. The entire table felt sick after we ate and the waiter gave off an attitude of not wanting to work there. On top of that the prices are outrageous. AVOID AT ALL

Was seated quickly and food came out fast. Ordered the shrimp tacos. The rice was burnt and inedible. The beans reminded me of Fritos bean dip. Great with Fritos, not so much as a side. The flour tortillas were a bit over cooked and a bit hard along some of the edges. The shrimp inside the tacos with the coleslaw was really tasty though. It is right at the end of the casino so you’ll be near all the sounds of the casino floor, but not really too loud. Given the option, I probably wouldn’t come back.

We dined at Guadalajara’s Mexican restaurant in Deadwood for lunch on 9/22. This is a restaurant that is attached to Cadillac Jacks so diners are surrounded by noisy sports betting television.

The food is overpriced, bland, and poorly presented. If you expect your $20 tacos to have beans, rice, or lettuce, forget about it. My companion asked for a bit of lettuce on the side, which became a one dollar upcharge - a ludicrous coup de grace to a hilariously bad dining experience.

Locals I subsequently spoke to reinforced that my experience is not atypical.

Shady practice of adding a gratuity without giving an itemized receipt nor being transparent that tips are added. Just 3 of us, so not a large group. Had to ask for itemized receipt. Sadly, we would have tipped more than they auto-added.
