We stayed by next door at the Travelodge and they had an add for this place for a $2.99 breakfast special of a half order of biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, 3 sausage links, and a cup of coffee for breakfast running till 11am. We got up early enough to take advantage of this special, my husband was feeling pancakes, I got the breakfast special. Sorry for forgetting to take pictures before we started tearing into it but it was delicious, my husband ordered 3 pancakes thinking it would be just enough to fill him up. Boy we were wrong, they are not just plate sized but overhanging the plate lol, 😆 one pancake would have been plenty, each pancake is probably 4 regular pancakes combined 😆 the gravy was delicious and not from a can. If you are in the area, definitely go eat here!!

When In for the ribeye steak last Saturday... One of the worst steaks I have ever had .. Told the server that the steak was horrible and she just laughed and grabbed my plate and walked away...One bite

Our favorite place in Deadwood. Have been at least 5 times and service is always great and food is delicious. Have never been disappointed.

PERFECT. That’s the word. We hit the jackpot with the 79¢ breakfast special—two eggs, two slices of bacon (seriously, the best diner bacon ever), two pieces of sourdough toast straight from heaven, and perfectly crisp hash browns. Oh, and let’s not forget the endless cup of coffee.
The 79¢ deal is only in November, but it hooked us! We’re already planning our next visit. A must-stop in Deadwood for food that’s simple, satisfying, and unforgettable.

We had a group of 6 people. One person never even got his food. Four of the four steaks that were ordered were over cooked. Waiter did not come back to even check to see how everything was. She did not come back to see if we needed anymore drinks. We asked for the manager, but he said that there was nothing that he could do because his manager said they could not comp anyone. The host asked how everything was and we told him that it was not good. His response was "sometimes that happens ". Very unsatisfied with the way this was handled. If your willing to gamble in Deadwood this is the place to eat. Update.. One of the customers did not eat his New york strip as it was over cooked and leathery. Another costomer had well over 3/4 of his prime rib that was way over cooked. One of the customers ordered a wrap and it came with mashed potatoes and gravy. He asked for french fries. The reason why nothing was said is that nobody came to check on us. Where we supposed to sit there for a half an hour for them to check on us. Then reorder or food and wait another 45min to see if they got it right?? Several of us were very hungry and had to eat something. I guarantee that there was no foul and inappropriate language directed at any of the staff. The manager was not there and could not be reached at the time. The only thing that I had said to the waiter was could I speak to the manager then she went and got someone else. He said there was nothing that he could do. I said that was fine will pay for it and leave a review.

The service was incredibly slow, and our server lacked attention to detail, never checking on us. One member of our party never received their food, and several orders were incorrect. The food that did arrive was bland and overcooked, making it not worth the price. To make matters worse, the manager was rude and unwilling to help when we expressed our concerns. The atmosphere felt chaotic rather than welcoming. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that I won’t be repeating.
Edit: Be wary of the response of the establishment. The response is heavily sensationilzed to the point that it's straight-up fiction. This is a blatant attempt to skirt criticism and invalidate negative feedback.
