We stayed by next door at the Travelodge and they had an add for this place for a $2.99 breakfast special of a half order of biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, 3 sausage links, and a cup of coffee for breakfast running till 11am. We got up early enough to take advantage of this special, my husband was feeling pancakes, I got the breakfast special. PERFECT. That’s the word. We hit the jackpot with the 79¢ breakfast special—two eggs, two slices of bacon (seriously, the best diner bacon ever), two pieces of sourdough toast straight from heaven, and perfectly crisp hash browns. Oh, and let’s not forget the endless cup of coffee.
The 79¢ deal is only in November, but it hooked us! We’re already planning our next visit. A must-stop in Deadwood for food that’s simple, satisfying, and unforgettable.

This is more of a review of Alyssa than the restaurant. She was day nine, by herself and basically playing quarterback to the entire place.
To the ownership: figure out your life! This girl is the reason why you get money on a Sunday. People were hostile, rude and cranky BECAUSE SHE WAS THE ONLY PERSON TAKING ORDERS!
If you had a lesser person working there, we would have walked out. So pay her $20 an hour plus tips or I’m going to get her paid somewhere else.
