Exceeded my expectations. Wonderful, professional service. Menu was a little limited but everything was great. Nice place for a splurge.
Our host was very pleasant. The atmosphere was very nice. Our server Pagan was spot on, from the moment we sat down, to getting our drinks and food. Went there for our anniversary and will definitely go again if we are ever in the area. My husband had the trio of meats and stated that it was very firm but tender. Sweet potatoes were firm and delicious. I had the filet Oscar, and it was very juicy. We also shared the escargot and our server recommended the bacon wrapped scallops, very delicious. We also had for dessert a Apple Pie cheesecake, just made you feel like you were at home. A fantastic place to eat!
Food was wonderful! Atmosphere was beautiful! Service was so-so. Much different than our normal service from this great spot.
Waitress was not attentive didn't get us water or bread. She seemed really annoyed when we asked for both. I ordered wine and got attitude. It was our 20 year anniversary and I was trying not to let her ruin it. She just needed a drink and an attitude adjustment ! We will be going back and hopefully won't get her again!
The food and atmosphere were great, our service started out great but then shifted to not so great when 2 large tables were seated beside us. It took forever to get our desert and then we sat for a very long time waiting for the check. Once the check was delivered we sat for a long time again so my husband took the check up front only to have the hostess state our waitress needed to check us out. We waited in the entry for a while then my husband grabbed another waitress and she checked us out. As a local this is where we like to go for special occasions, guess we will find somewhere else.
Adam was out server and he was excellent! The restaurant temp was a little cold, food was fabulous, French onion soup 5 stars, filet was good but loved the add on foie gras!!!!
Food was excellent. Service was okay. No explanation of menu items or dishes of popularity. The person busing tables was over about six times to clear the table - a little much - trying to take uneaten food away and we were not done eating. Server was merely an order taker.
Bone in ribeye and a bottle of Miner The Oracle can't be beat ! We wouldn't go to Deadwood without eating here at least once.
Overall the venue was what we hoped it would be. Looked as we expected. Old West meets Las Vegas. Edgy and western. The restaurant was Art Deco in design and was very welcoming. Our waiter was overwhelmed and we saw him hustling to bring food out and serve but we rarely saw him at our table. He took our order in a hurry and left. His assistant was busy but did talk to us and explained it was a busy night. Our appetizer took 15 minutes to arrive. The entrees at least an hour. We had a salad after about 25 minutes. When we asked why it took so long the waiter said it was a 7 course meal and meant to be savored. My math must be off. Maybe an off night. Food was mixed. My Filet Oscar was very good. Husbands rib eye was not great. Try someplace else
We've always had great service! The food is fantastic. We really enjoy the early $34 menu for two. Just the right amount of food and you can't beat the price!

Great steak
Really the only up scale menu and atmosphere in Deadwood. The food is excellent across the board. HUGE cuts of American Beef and large wine menu give plenty of pairing options. Sea Bass, Shrimp and crab cakes make for great seafood options too. Our server Peyton was amazing!! She knew the menu and specials down pat and did a wonderful job serving our meal. Expect to spend at least $100 per person between appetizers, drinks, main course and desserts.

We made reservations on Sunday for dining at 7:30 Wednesday. Was excited for the experience only to be disappointed. Our waiter came to our table only to get our meal order. I had to stop him for a drink and 20 minutes later, nothing. We received our salads and appetizer but no drinks only water on the table. After a bus boy cleared the table still no drinks or offer from our waiter. I finally stopped him and ordered another cocktail, it was never delivered nor was the sorbet. We watched other tables that arrived after us getting service. We finally had it with the utter disregard for us as customers. I again had to stop our waiter, this time to tell him I’m leaving. At this time they brought our meal out but it wasn’t our waiter, again we still didn’t receive our drink order nor the sorbet I again asked for our bill and told them they can take it back, it was such a disappointment we couldn’t stay and try to enjoy our meal.

This was the bright spot of our entire weekend in Deadwood. The atmosphere was awesome. I could geek out on the historic building all night. I had the Ribeye. It was very tender, but the flavor knocked it out of the park. My add-on foie gras was on point and placed on top of the steak. My wife had Filet Oscar, which was a great combination of steak and fish. She found it a bit salty but was very satisfied with the flavors. The staff were polite and attentive. The 1st floor bar staff were great for a drink prior to dinner. Dinner prices were high, but highly worth it in our opinion. I would definitely recommend for a fine dining experience.
