Sandwich was sub-par compared to other JM's I have eaten at. No one was out front and we had to wait for someone to realize they had a few customers waiting. They were pushy and impatient and couldn't wait to disappear in the back again.

This place is a great addition to Deadwood. There aren't a lot of quality options for a quick lunch but this one takes the crown. Fresh ingredients, quick and friendly staff and it's right inside Tin Lizzie with lots of parking right across the street. Great place for lunch.

Awesome and well-needed new addition to restaurant options in Deadwood. Way fresher than Subway with lots of good choices. Portion sizes are generous and filling. Meats and cheeses are fresh sliced, the bread is fresh, and the employees are very friendly and helpful and attentive to detail. As a professional working in Deadwood, I order probably 3 times a week through the app and I get exactly what I asked for, every time. I would recommend using the mobile app and ordering ahead of time so you get points. As a franchise, they don't participate in some of the nationwide coupon promos e.g. buy 1 regular get 1 free, but it makes sense as a new location trying to break even, and the price is worth it every time. Hopefully those good deals are something they can support in the future. Glad they're here in town and hope they stick around for the foreseeable future.

Eating a delicious sandwich is one thing but making a delicious sandwich is another and the staff at Jess and his comrades shows the difference from the minute you walk in to the minute you pay they not only make you feel like this is your neighborhood bodega but conversationally move you through the line in the most friendly manner. Move over Subway, there’s a new sandwich artist in town.
