Mavericks Steak & Cocktails, Deadwood

I dined at Maverick's today June 23rd. I had Krystal as my server. Can I please brag on what a sweet, kind and attentive server she was? She was working so hard and hustled. The food we had was amazing but I always believe that food is food. Food always tastes better when you are enjoying yourself. I will absolutely be back. Ps...Krystal deserves a raise! Thanks Mavericks! I'll be back!

The hotel we stayed at advertise for this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Joseph our server was very pleasant easy to talk to and gave great suggestions. I had the cheeseburger soup was tasted just like it sounds. It was delicious. My wife had pulled pork while I had a ribeye. My wife also had the ranch fries very unique and very tasty. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time from start to finish.

I had a great experience at Mavericks Steakhouse in Deadwood! I ordered the pork ribs, and they were absolutely perfect, so tender they literally fell off the bone. Our waiter, Craig, was fantastic. He took great care of our whole party, kept our drinks full, and made sure we had plenty of dinner rolls. One thing that really stood out was how thoughtful he was to bring the kids’ food out first—it made things so much easier for everyone. Great food, great service. We’ll definitely be back!

Michael was an excellent waiter. He was attentive and pleasant to interact with. He carried himself very professionally, and he went above and beyond on service. And oh, as for the steak.....it is to die for. The best I have had in years.

Went here on a week night. It was very busy. Food and service was good. A little pricey for what we ordered.

I have been here many times in the winter for snocross, but this was my first visit to Deadwood in the summer. Always look forward to eating at Mavericks every visit! Food is delicious, and our server tonight- Crystal- was absolutely wonderful! Love this place every time we eat there!

Avoid the casino, steakhouse staff is great and attentive, downstairs staff is aweful

My wife and I ate at Mavericks for our anniversary! Had a ribeye and a New York strip….both steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted great! The restaurant was busy, but when we were seated we had immediate service.

Unbelievably good ribs and cajun salad. The chef is from Louisiana and makes all the sauces himself. They are phenomenal. Tajin chip appetizer was also great. Definitely stop here if looking for good food at Deadwood. Everything we ate was gluten free too.

After reading Google restaurant reviews for Deadwood, we opted for Mavericks. Winner! We arrived 5 pm and sat at the bar. All the servers/bartenders were friendly, happy and truly seem to enjoy their job! Our server, Mickey, was outstanding. He gave us information and made great suggestions for food (salad dressings are made in-house; ribs are smoked in-house and BBQ sauce made in-house). We ordered salad (blue cheese dressing and thousand island dressing), baked potato, fries, and ribs (sweet BBQ sauce on the side). Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend.
