I ordered a medium rare New York Strip and took two bites and couldn't manage to eat the rest it was all gristle. Worst steak I've ever tried to eat, I ordered garlic mushrooms and was told it was going to take an extra 20 minutes for those? Would not recommend, the waitress was good that is the only reason I left a tip.
Service was good! They were very busy because it was Valentine's Day! We did have a screaming child beside us, but she settled down for the most part! Food was good and enjoyed just hanging with friends!
The Best New Years Eve Dinner at My Favorite Restaurant with wonderful friends ! Troy our server was fantastic as always and we all loved our entrees ... Everything prepared so beautifully and so delicious ! A Perfect New Years Eve Dinner ! ✨✨✨🥰🥂
We were extremely surprised at the raving reviews for this place online. Service was incredibly slow, we were there for nearly 2 hours. 15 minutes after we were sat (we had reservations for 7) to be greeted, another 15 to place our food and drink order, our chislic another 15 (it was cold, a dozen pieces of shriveled black meat). There was no communication about our food from our server—no communication at all, actually. When someone did stop by, it was hosts or bussers refilling our waters. At the 1 1/2 hour mark, I had completely lost my appetite out of disappointment and frustration. We got the beef tortellini, mushroom ravioli, and chicken Caesar salad. The ravioli was sad and warm. The beef tortellini was similar, but more disappointing. The spicy marinara sauce tasted and looked more like plain tomato sauce. The chicken Caesar salad was good, but like I said, I lost my appetite out of frustration. What should've been a 40-50 minute dinner before we explored Deadwood, was 1 hr 40 minutes of being held hostage for some terribly overpriced food. The manager was receptive, kind, and took the two meals and drink off our ticket, which we really appreciate. We were offered an opportunity to try something else on the menu, or get a free drink, but we weren't confident we'd get it in under 20 minutes—we had other plans for the night that were delayed because of this. This is not to whine and complain. I write this review (my first ever) because I'm a food service worker who has a lot of love for the industry. I never left a restaurant hungry until this night.
Our food was extremely disappointing!!!! We used to eat here years ago and it was great food. I would not recommend it to anyone!!!
We had difficulty reaching anyone by phone to modify our reservation, so we arrived early in hopes of ensuring our group could sit together or at least near one another. Unfortunately, the hostess made no effort to accommodate us and seated our party in completely separate areas of the restaurant, despite there being open tables and the simple solution of adding one additional chair to our table.
Very nice people here.
Customer service oriented too.
Not a lot of machines like the bigger outfits, but they give you plenty of play for the money 😎.

Service is good, friendly staff on the bar side. Waiting time for a table in dining area was more than an hour. Our food was ok.

Drove hours trying to make last call before going to the hotel. Showed up 45min before closing and got turned away.
By far my favorite place in Deadwood. Great diverse menu, friendly service and wonderful atmosphere. Also a great wine menu! The Tuaca Pheasant and Buffalo Ravioli are amazing dishes. You can't go wrong here!
For a $200 meal we were disappointed with the off season meal service. They were out of potatoes, mashed potatoes, asparagus and pheasant. So basically only leaves onion rings for you your side with a bison ribeye? The steak were overcooked, the Chlisic lacking flavor and my wedge salad was made with Romain letter and ranch!! (Not iceberg wedge and green goddess dressing) I eat here at least 6 times a year and never had this kind of food disappointment before.
Food was better 5 years ago. Asparagus was sooo thin and not cooked. Onion rings were frozen and had no onion to speak of. Pricey for not having more homemade. The shrimp sausage appetizer was good and the ceasar salad was too.
