Enjoyed a meal of venison, elk, and buffalo. Delicious. Perfectly prepared.
Pricey.
We came in and the bartender was in side room taking snap chat videos and too busy to come wait on us. However we went to 3rd floor and got waited on right away, so she gets a 5 star! Blonde downstairs not so much!!
Relaxing atmosphere to me, went at night. Gambled and drank won about 100 bucks on the machinesby the door. The cashier was very nice when I cashed out my winnings
Service is fantastic n good music
On 2/15/2025 my wife, 8 month old son, and I were a party of 12 that dinned at Jake’s restaurant. The food was good however one of the casinos staff members downstairs was very unprofessional and callus. Due to the wind chill being -13, I told my wife to wait by the door with everyone else while I went down to the parking garage so our 8 month old son didn’t have to be out in the cold any longer then needed. While I was gone, one of the casino employees came up to my wife and the group stating that the baby couldn’t stay in the casino area. She made my wife take our son to wait in the cold on the off chance the gaming commission came in to give her a fine. I believe this could have been handled differently thus we will not be returning.
We brought a group of 16 to Boozy Bingo at Midnight Star on 12/28, excited for a fun evening. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by unprofessional behavior from one of the bartenders.
The blonde female bartender seemed to lack customer service training. She first made one of our Bloody Marys incorrectly, using club soda instead of the usual ingredients. Later, someone in our group noticed her berating a barback.
The tipping situation was particularly uncomfortable. When my sister ordered two glasses of wine and a mixed drink, she tipped a couple of dollars. Despite this, the bartender ran after her and raised her voice publicly, saying, “We work for tips, you know,” which felt unnecessary and confrontational.
When I went to address the situation and asked if she wanted more for her tip, she repeatedly called me “baby” in a condescending tone, despite my request for her to stop. This unprofessional demeanor discouraged us from ordering more drinks and ultimately cut our visit short.
Drinks were also more expensive upstairs than downstairs for some reason.
It’s disappointing, as we’d planned to stay longer and spend more at the bar. The bingo event was fun but experiences like this make it hard to support a business that allows such behavior.
See the gunfight out front.
Great place, cold drinks inviting atmosphere, Owner is a great guy.
We stopped in because of the sign outside advertising $5 margaritas. The bar was beautiful, very classic and well maintained. The bartender was really friendly and knowledgeable about the area, town and restaurant recommendations. I am going with a 3 because it may have been the worst margarita I have ever had. Couldn't even taste tequila, it tasted like sour syrup. No salt, no lime, and gave us both horrible indigestion from 1. We were hot and looking for a cool, relaxing drink, unfortunately not impressed.
Expensive and was mean mugged and judged by the patrons and staff.

It's nothing like when Costner had it. The memrobelia is gone as is the magic. Our waitress was very good and jack of all trades. Our silverware was crusty, and I sent it back only to get more crust on the next fork tines. She brought out new, clean silverware and said the others hadn't been "polished." Double eeew on the sticky salt and pepper shakers!
I used to come here to play Big Bertha with my Dad back when it was still Kevin Costner's place, when it was fun and lively.
Now it's quiet and boring...
Fun small casino, nice workers
played some blackjack here. Overall it was a good time but it got awkward the more I played with some dealers as they were giving me the silent treatment and sparking zero conversation and the body language was showing all signs of you can leave now. It did change as I tipped so I guess the lesson here is to tip in advance for better customer service.
We went to the bar on the third floor and it was a train wreck. Jon from Bar Rescue should do an episode there. No one was trained and the only waitress was only 2 days in. Very sad and not good place to go. Customers had to teach the janitor to make a drinks.
