Walked by and saw a Smokey old fashioned advertised. Leo/lenny the bartender was fantastic in every aspect and made the best drink I’ve had in a long time. Food was great limited menu but what we ordered was great

Unusually slow shift change resulting in slow service. First visit was good, friendly bartender and good food. Only got half of the fries we had the previous day and bartender stated that she would tell the cook, and no offer to credit our bill or send out more fries...

July 2025 - We stopped in for drinks. We found both bartenders to be very rude. We won't be back. There are plenty of other options in Deadwood where the staff are pleasant.

Spent a few days in Deadwood back in May. This was the best tavern in town (we are from Wisconsin).
Had my first Old Fashioned (really…. I am 60 and from Wisconsin and never had one before). I have lead a sheltered life.
Very friendly, knowlegable and enthusiastic bartender. Great times!
