What a great experience! I had the pleasure of stopping in while exploring the town of Deadwood and I’m sure glad I did. Joel walked me through a whiskey tasting and was a well of knowledge about the products. As a whiskey nerd myself it’s always fun to talk with someone who shares your passion. The store is full of fun and useful items and the locally sourced whiskey is great. I even got to experience pouring and labeling my very own bottle. I cannot recommend a visit to West River Whiskey Co. enough!

Dropped in on my way back to Tennessee from a trip to Montana. Listened to the presentation given during the whiskey tasting. I'm not a big whiskey drinker but was looking for a few gift bottles. Gave them all away but had a chance to taste the classic West River Whiskey (tall bottle). It was the smoothest I have ever had. I've received multiple requests from friends for it and since you can't currently ship it, I'll just have to drop back by in September/October and pick up a case. A great little store and experience!

Was Looking forward to Sampling the Whiskey and buying a bottle or two....However...the clerk totally ignored me when I asked for a sampling and headed to the stock room and never acknowledge my request....shameful customer service...do better.
