Yates the bartender was awesome! My husband Andrew and I loved the overall atmosphere, the drinks, the history, and we highly recommend the self guided tour. We didn’t grab dinner there, so can’t review that but it looked good. Overall excellent experience.
Loved the atmosphere. In such a tourist town, you fee right at home. We were there over the weekend and had Mead for the first time. An older gentlemen was playing live music (wonderfully might I add) and the bartender was so kind and was a wealth of knowledge. Before going downstairs to tour where Wild Bill was shot and killed he gave our group and the other group of people all the background knowledge on what happened. And told us about the original street level of Deadwood...
We had our dog with us, and as we were walking past, the front door person said it was dog friendly. They weren't kidding. They had live music and it wasn't busy at all. We loved the atmosphere and will certainly be back. We did not eat, we just had a cocktail.
