Went in to aquire about lunch and the bartender was very rude and said cash only and walked away so did we. The bar is very interesting to view but thats all. She needs new job. Not a customer service person
My husband was anamored with this place. He is a Hugh history buff and was so thrilled to see all of wild bills guns on display. The bloody Mary wasn't so bad either.
The food was awesome and the service was outstanding to the point where we asked for a manager as the service was better than 99% of restaurants we have ever eaten in. Keep up the good work and don't change a thing.
Food was fine but service was very slow. We were there when it was not busy yet.
We saw a reenactment of Wild Bill Hickok getting shot duri g a card game. This truly happened in Deadwood. The bar was what you would expect in the old west. Of course, I got a shot of whiskey.
My review is only for the bar replica downstairs. It was like $10 or$20 bucks for entry buy or was pretty cool to see what the shootout might have looked like. The little room off to side was pretty cool. I love seeing stuff like this.
Live music outside on patio drew us into this establishment. Greeted with a smile by our hostess. Short wait and we were seated. Server very friendly. Had drinks right away and decided to try buffalo burgers. We were very pleased. Cool spot to stop for drink or food. Large indoor area for seating. Deck upstairs was cool to look out over the main street area of Deadwood.
We went during Octoberfest, this place had a simple menu. My friend had the sloppy joes and myself the pulled pork. Both tasted good & had chips, good value for the money. Served quickly. The wine for around $5 a glass. Can’t beat that. We over heard someone taking about a tour down in the basement where Wild Bill was shot ( or that was our impression) it was Octberfest after all. It was $10.00. While it was fun to go down and see original ground level back in the 1800. The current ground level is higher then back in the day. There was a guide who gave a story/ speech ( but boy he spoke fast) it was interesting, but over priced. Would not do again. Nice old bar look. Would certainly have more drinks there
I believe this place has closed its doors
This place has a great story! We enjoyed the great atmosphere and amazing Wild Bill Mild tap beer! The basement bar was amazing to sit and drink at!

nice staff
Love the friendly staff. They added to the experience.
Food was okay and reasonably priced. Bar tender was extremely rude. Watched him chew out several customers for asking about the shoot out. He definitely needs a different job, in fact that’s what he told a fellow worker. He just couldn’t stand the customers. We won’t be back in that establishment too many other things to see in Deadwood. Highly recommend going.
Great place to drink and visit
