I'm sure they do a great job all day long, but I have only been there later in the evening and it is an Oasis for a thirsty and hungry traveler. There is not much open in Pierre later into the evenings. Being able to stop in the Chuckwagon late at night and get not just a drink but some simple and tasty bar food is wonderful. Chuckwagon is an amazing place to stop if you're looking for a quick bite with quality service, and cozy atmosphere. Their unique pizza options are excellent, and the jalapeño poppers are a great bang for your buck! At the price point, there really is no better place to stop for food & drink in the town of Fort Pierre
