“We had read some good reviews and and made the drive over to check it out. We've eaten at numerous bar restaurants in the area and weren't very impressed with what people consider good food and service. However Double Barrel did not disappoint us. The service was good but not great, in her defense our waitress was tending a full bar and was flying solo when we were there. The salad bar was good with plenty of options. The soup was very good. Rib eye steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, they really stood out. Probably one of the best we've had anywhere but a little on the spendy side. This place is a diamond in the rough.”

“I'll give a Great review because of the amazing service in the past but tonight 12/14/24 we had a large hunting party that we were going to try to entertain and wanted to call ahead to make sure you were open and not closing early and the number listed on everything thru searching is disconnected. Ended up heading elsewhere with the 18 in our party. Please update your phone as we enjoy your place.”

“We were in town for a family funeral and met up with a bunch of family members at Hazel's to have a cup of coffee. It was a good environment, the coffee was good, and the service was good. Definitely recommended if you find yourself in Oregon, Illinois.”
