Should've read others reviews before attending this event. Chicken looked processed, BBQ sauce in a plastic bottle on the table, only butter for potato (half was black and not edible), watery roast beef, drippy beans, so - so dessert and small cups of water or lemonade to drink. Activities for kids was lackluster. We served ourselves and took our plates to the back when finished, then were asked to tip the servers! The only salvation to this dinner was the entertainment. I would not recommend.

I loved the activities, gun shooting, and catching the biscuit bandit. I enjoyed the dinner of course. I was especially entertained by the music.

this is our second chuckwagon supper and music in SD. This one had more country music and still had great food. Family run and operated. their Son had a great voice and the whole group was very entertaining. Food was baked potato, apple sauce, cowboy beans, biscuit, chicken and beef. All very tasty. Just try this it is very entertaining.

We have been to quite a few Chuckwagon dinner/shows and the entertainment at this one was the absolute best! The fiddler was top notch and the other family members were so talented. The joy they felt in their performance was very evident! I would say that the dinner was acceptable, but not as good as other such dinners I’ve had. However, the show more than made up for the bland meal and I would go again just for that!

Great entertainment for all ages. Our 6 year old boy had a great time. From shooting to panning, and roping "steers". Everyone was super friendly, the food hit the spot, and the music/entrainment was great. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. I can't say enough. Thank you to the folks at Circle B Ranch!

Food was great and staff was very kind. However, activities and atmosphere very geared towards those under twelve which made my party of mostly adults bored and uncomfortable. Also making guests pay for ice cream after charging $30+ for supper? Ridiculous. Advertising should be clear that this is not the place to go for those above 12 or without children

Absolutely outstanding family that makes everyone feel welcome. I cannot emphasize enough how friendly and hospitable these folks were. On a vacation with the family we had the opportunity to visit Circle B, and it is clear they have it down to a science since they have been doing this so long. There were plenty of activities for the kids to keep them occupied while we waited to go inside for dinner service, that was a huge help! Overall the food was quite good, especially their biscuits! I went with the barbecue chicken and beef and although it isn't gourmet presentation, it was 100% delicious. The portions are generous so make sure you come hungry. We did not stay too long for the music show, but if you are a fan of country and western music, they do a great job. If you find yourself visiting the Black Hills I recommend taking one of your nights for dinner at the Circle B Ranch, especially if you are bringing little ones.

We wanted to do a chuckwagon dinner while in the black hills. We decided on Circle B because they are members of Chuckwagons of the West. The ticketbooth opens at 4:30 and the biscuit bandit shootout is at 6:00. There is plenty to do while waiting for the shootout. The have gem panning, corn hole, "steer" roping and more. There is also wax bullet shooting. There is also horse rides for the youngsters. The shootout is very entertaining because the children get involved. After the shootout is a delicious dinner. I had the beef and it was great, very moist. My husband had the chicken and he liked it too. The rest of the meal was a baked potato, chunky applesauce , baked beans a biscuit and spice cake for dessert. The entire meal was very good but the cowboy music entertainment after dinner was the best. This is a family run business and you feel like family but the time the evening is over. We would highly recommend spending an evening with Kathy and Dale Lawson.
