Food was lukewarm at best. Meat on hot beef sandwich was tough and potatoes had a strange sour taste to a couple of bites. Probably would have been better if the food was hot when serves.

Had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and the salad bar and it was absolutely amazing! The young man served my food. Did all the proper check backs and kept my drinks coming! Very friendly people good place to eat highly recommended and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing.

Wanted to have a sit-down dinner that was not from Cisco or pre-made that was just warmed up. Pickens were slim due to the time of year around this area, Hill City Cafe answer that desire. Food was very good and full of flavor and you could tell it was made in house rather than to a factory, the bacon Swiss burger was undercooked for my liking, but that was my problem because I did not tell what I wanted. Onion rings with nice and crisp. First of many visits will come back again.

Great little hidden gem!! We came when the High School Basketball Team was holding a fundraiser and had team members as servers. It's awesome that they do that!! Food was delicious and atmosphere cozy. We are glad we stopped!! Will come again when back in Hill City for sure!!

Good little stop in Hill City. Steak was really good. Salad bar was good, but a little light on ingredients. I think I had the 1st baked potato of the evening (we got there just after 4) and was not quite done, but plenty of toppings. Our waitress was fantastic.
