A must stop for a drink,& great atmosphere. Hard pass on the food. The appetizers were freezer burnt, and nothing I couldn't get for my groceries freezer fresh. If you order a burger get it well done.

Booming tourist joint along the Michelson Trail but dominated by ATV folks. NOT a table service place - get in line to order and then find a table. Food was OK but nothing to get excited about. Oh - and it's about the only place around for many miles. That said, beer was cold and the fries hot, so all was good enough.

What a cool little bar/pub in Rochford! The young lady behind the bar was sweet and friendly and the patrons were all in great spirits. Lots of character here, outside seating area was great too, neat place, don't miss it if you're nearby!

Oh my gosh! We found this little gem when we got lost today while riding our touring motorcycles. You feel right at home from the minute you walk up on the porch! Everyone is friendly and the appetizers were great. There is an added extra next door, The Happy Dog Cafe for ice cream and gifts. If we make it back to SD this will be a must on our list to stop at again! ? (It sits right along side the road, you cannot miss it.)

Parking: Motorcycle friendly parking, small loose gravel.

Parking: The location is wrong. This little gem is in a hamlet named Rochford. The drive down Rochford Road is gorgeous.

Moonshine Gulch Saloon is a great destination to stop for lunch or just enjoy the atmosphere!
We stopped in at Moonshine Gulch Saloon while out trail riding. It's an enjoyable old saloon worth stopping at. There's plenty to look at on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. The food was decent and although fairly busy the service was great.
I would recommend Moonshine Gulch Saloon to anyone traveling through the area looking for an old saloon with a lot of charisma!

Great selection of adult beverages. The fries were hand cut fresh as the bread was either homemade or fresh local. Great taste and friendly service!
