Prairie Berry Winery Reviews
I love the wines, but was disappointed to see the huge surcharge on my credit card statement! We shopped there 3 times in five days, and were never told about the surcharge on cards. I read state law says four percent max, but not in this case.
Highly recommend! Ryan was awesome! Great personality and informative! Food was fantastic! Wine is wonderful!
we stopped in twice while on vacation. The ladies serving us were fantastic. Great recommendations, fabulous flavor choices and good pricing. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
Menu
Prairie Berry Winery offers a delightful experience with a free wine tasting and a broad food menu. The food is absolutely delicious, featuring popular dishes like the avocado and fresh strawberry salad, chicken sandwich with artichoke, and half sandwich with soup. Visitors often enjoy the good lunch options, which include a rotating menu and a variety of wine choices. The winery is also known for its award-winning wines, such as the unique Rosy Ass Rhubarb and seasonal Pumpkin Bog served hot. The tasting includes five free samples, making it fun to explore different flavors, and many guests find it hard to choose just one full glass. The staff is very friendly, and the store is neat and clean, with a lovely patio for relaxing.
Sadly, the winery is in the process of closing down. Loyal customers are saddened to see it go, as they have enjoyed the delicious rhubarb wines and the welcoming atmosphere over the years. The winery is currently selling off its remaining inventory, including the popular Red Ass Rhubarb wine. Visitors who stop by now will find a quiet and bittersweet experience, as the winery prepares to say goodbye.
