Wow! What a treat this place is! It's definitely more than a winery as their food options were fresh and made for a perfect lunch spot after checking out Mount Rushmore! The history of this place is amazing as they offer award winning wines that you have to taste to understand. The Rosy Ass Rhubarb is incredible and so unique. Plus, you get to say ass in an appropriate way out loud when you order. The seasonal Pumpkin Bog was delicious, and they served it hot, which was a nice treat. The 5 sample tasting is free, but it makes it hard to choose which full glass to purchase because there is a flavor for every pallette. Loved it here!

It was pretty. The gentleman gave me a sample of the 3 wines I requested. No added info but he was nice. We picked up 10 bottles and went to the cash register, he boxed them and as we were paying he told me that they gave a 10% discount on 12 bottles . I said great I will buy 2 more. He said too late, the transaction had already gone through. REALLY!!! You can't void that one and start again?? Nope. We even gave him a tip. Aggghhhh. What horrible customer service. Tell us about a special when it was too late. We were very disappointed.

The wine was decent but the experience i received was horrible. The staff in particular a Caucasian woman w/glasses treated me me like a 4th class citizen. I was standing waiting 2 b serviced for 5 minutes than a Caucasian woman came & this staff member raced 2 her & took her order. Meanwhile, I was left 2 waiting for another 5 min before she came 2 me. I should have reported her but I decided 2 take my money elsewhere.

Love this winery! Stop by for a tasing and try all their lovely wines. Locally made and sourced! My favorite is the Rosy, but they will definitely find something you'll like.

The staff is super sweet here. We stopped in on our honeymoon. We had jammed so much stuff into our days we missed closing time two days and barely made it but "had" to visit. Another couple, also on honeymoon, were there. We all did a tasting and were treated to a glass on the house. Everyone raves about Prairie Berry Winery and we're glad we stopped. Sad we live so far away. But glad to hear we can have it shipped!! The only souvenir type item we bought (other than delicious wine) are Prairie Berry Winery glasses that we can use over and remember the nice time there and our awesome honeymoon trip. The store is neat and clean. There is a lovely patio. The staff are wine are great. Credit cards and cash are accepted.

My wife and I stopped in to check out the interesting wine selection during our recent trip to the Black Hills. We were met by the very friendly staff and got to try tastings for all the wines we were interested in. Left with six bottles. Nice facility.
