Being from the Chicagoland area, it’s tough to find good pizza while on vacation.
Big Time Pizza passed the test and what made the experience even more special is knowing it is a generationally owned establishment with the Dad doing the cooking and the daughter doing everything else.
It’s a shame no one wants to work at a place like this when help is certainly needed.
Hopefully the business keeps ticking along for many more years to come. 🤞🍕
Pricey
We spent a week in the Black hills, and ordinarily on vacation qe eat pizza about every other night. This was by far the best pizza we had on a 2-week trip. This is a true family-owned place, and veteran owned from what I understand. A Vietnam veteran made our pizza. Three generations of the family were there the night we dined. I consider myself a connoisseur of pizza crust and this
was some of the best crust I have ever had. I would say it is closest to New York style, with a nice char as if it were coal-fired. And the pizza took a little while to cook, but I understand why as it is it is truly artisan made. I will make sure to grab some pizza here every time I am town from now on.
Pizza was wonderful. As seen in many other reviews the brown haired lady is just not pleasant at all. The dining space is cluttered with random things which would have been easily overlooked if the service was good. Regardless of how great the pizza was, I would not return. We received much better service from a teenager at a fast food restaurant the next day.
The food was fantastic! We had the Tatokna pizza and it was so delicious! There is a soda fountain machine so having access to free refills was great. The atmosphere was a little off. We felt like we were sitting in their home. But the food was good enough we could overlook that. Would recommend.
This was a random stop for dinner after walking through Hot Springs. It was a 45-minute wait, which I don't feel is that bad. We ordered their quad pizza, which is four different pizzas on one. It was amazing pizza. If you are around the area and desire real pizza, not box store pizza. Hands down, I highly recommend trying a pizza here.
Pizza Was good. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but the service was terrible. We were the only people in the place, and she was just across the counter, but she didn’t greet us or even acknowledge we were in the place. We understood she was getting online orders ready. We weren’t in a hurry, but she sure acted like she didn’t want our business.
Pizza was really good and fresh!!
The Mac on Fire pizza is absolutely amazing! My 7 year old is very picky about his pepperoni pizzas and he said it's the best he's ever had. Friendly service and clean restaurant, highly reccomend!!
The pizzas here are absolutely worth it. I've worked many years with both restaurants and fast food pizza orders. The pizzas we've ordered so far were well cooked and very tasty. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out when you have a big group or if you just want one all for yourself. The only reason for me not giving this restaurant a 5 star was because of how many people were cluttered together when I tried to get my food. Beyond that I have no complaints and will definitely be returning to get more great food.

Great locally owned pizza shop. Crust is just right. Not too thin, not too thick.

The pizza was amazing, best ever. Shame the person taking our order was not friendly or professional, she made us like we were interrupting her day, and it was a chore to serve us. The pizza was great as I said, but we will never go there again and give our business where it is not wanted.

One of the best pizza places I ever ate at. The pizza is definitely worth the wait. Even taste just as good. Heat it up after stuffing your face with the first course. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I wish they would have moved one to Oklahoma. Thank you for the wonderful pizza.
