Absolutely wonderful experience and one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The food was exceptional, service was friendly and timely, and the atmosphere was cool yet approachable. I look forward to many visits in the future!
If you’re going in the evening, just be mindful of the turn to go into the location! We had a tough time seeing the sign in the dark.

Buffalo Dreamer is a gem in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The restaurant offers a stunning menu with beautifully prepared, slow cooked dishes, including the Cherry Blossom Moon inspired dishes that are light and bursting with flavor. The food is absolutely delicious and excellently crafted. It is very intimate, so it is a great moment to take it slow. Many visitors consider it the best food experience in the Black Hills. Guests highlight the unique and immersive experience, especially with the amazing steak with chimichurri and the cod. It is a great place to stop while visiting, well worth the drive from Rapid City. The beets with goat cheese appetizer is amazing and helps tide you over. The service is great, making the whole evening an interesting adventure.
