We showed up just as they were closing up and the owners graciously welcomed us and asked what they could get for us. We ordered the smoked chicken tika masala and the eggplant masala. While we waited we chatted with the musicians that had been playing there. Delightful folks! Next thing I know, the pager is going off and we have an enormous bag of delicious food to go. The portions are super generous and the flavors are fantastic. The naan was soft and warm, the raita was perfumed...
We had the smoked chicken masala and it was amazing! The dinner came with garlic naan, rice and a delish yogurt sauce. The owner(s)/cooks were so friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could enjoy this more often.
I had the honor of trying this place while I was in town doing a program at the Manmoth Site, and I’m so glad I did. I had the lamb and chicken masala with an extra order of honey naan, and I am still dreaming about it weeks later, wishing I lived close to have it again. I didn’t get to sit outside as it was raining, but it looked magical and welcoming. Must try while in Hot Springs!
