Went for the ice cream . The employees seemed annoyed at us . No idea why. We bought 8 ice creams and it was over $60 !! I guess that’s what you pay to eat an ice cream whilst looking at Mount Rushmore.

The monument Breakfast was just as good as what you would get at a restaurant. Highly recommend it filling for a grown man. 3 eggs 3 bacon or sausage heap of fried potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. $15
Relaxing and peaceful atmosphere; the dining menu met diverse needs for those who are picky eaters.
My first visit to Mt. Rushmore was truly breathtaking! The monument's grandeur and intricate details left me in awe. The architecture is a testament to human ingenuity and perseverance.
But what truly made my trip special was the exceptional experience I had in the restaurant at coffee shop. The barista looked confused with my drink order(I have few dietary restrictions) that’s where this Indian gentleman walks in, his service was outstanding – he not only crafted a custom coffee that catered to my dietary needs but also took the time to share insights about the memorial and other outlets and gift shops they have here.
I am so amazed by his knowledge on food and drinks he shared with us and his willingness to help extended beyond the coffee shop, as he even assisted me with my parking ticket. His warmth and hospitality made me feel welcome and valued.
The restaurant and coffee shop's excellent service elevated my entire experience, making my trip to Mt. Rushmore even more memorable.
Walk up counter service. Just got a coffee, sat and chilled a bit. Great views of Mount Rushmore. It wasn't a busy time of the day, and it was just chill overall everywhere inside. It was kind of oddly warm inside, but it was ok. I liked it more than I probably should have for some reason.

Id get something before you get here. Soda was flat, pickles were shriveled, meat tasted reheated or like it had been under a heat lamp for hours.
Healthy options and real dishes, not disposable. View is unmatchable and it's not busy in early April. Whole family tried buffalo chili ~ delicious!
Great place!

Cafe that's located near the Mount Rushmore national monument. There's plenty of seating here. There's two different counters - one serves ice cream, the other serves actual food. The service was okay, not bad. Food came out on a tray, as if you're at school. The taste was pretty good, but it wasn't amazing. The biggest standout was that the room was really breezy - there were fans going on full blast that were constantly blowing away my napkins.
