Nice and peaceful campground
We got rained out, so didn’t have a Chance to hike, but the folks that take care of the place say there is a super nice hike with a waterfall that comes off the campground, and the campsites are also very nice. Would recommend.
Grizzly Primitive Campground delivered exactly what I was looking for, an offgrid, peaceful experience. I stayed at Plot 11, which is conveniently close to the creek. The constant, soothing sound of the water combined with the natural atmosphere made it incredibly relaxing and well worth the stay. Just a heads up it's cash only, so bring exactly $26 for the night. Simple, quiet, and exactly what you'd hope for in a primitive camping spot.

Campsites are suitable for tents or small RVs under 24 feet, with no pull trailers or fifth wheels allowed. Vault toilets are available, but there are no showers. A stream runs by some sites, adding to the serene environment. Campsite costs are reasonable, with about $26 per night. Overall, visitors can expect a primitive yet wonderful stay with nice scenery and clean sites.
