“Kalleys West, what a great find. On September 15th, 2026, after visiting Mt. Rushmore, we drove down the mountain to Keystone, SD. There we discovered a fantastic place for dinner. The food was excellent, the Keystone atmosphere outstanding, and the service/hospitality couldn't have been better! Run by Dad Tryd and Son Grayson—two of the nicest people you'll ever meet—they couldn't have been more accommodating. You'll never go wrong stopping there. We'll be back! :-)“

“I stayed here in September 2026 on adventure vacation to South Dakota and Wyoming. This is a nice uncomplicated campground with smaller sites with tons of trees around you. At least one other visitor had trouble with their popup camper due to the branches. The site I choose wasn't at all flat, but that didn't matter to me, but as I was in a car tent camping that didn't matter to me. The hosts were very pleasant. Be aware that you may be able to be the Recreation.gov app to reserve a spot a head of time, but there are days when all sites are first come gets it basis. There is water close by that was fine, and vault toilets that were pretty clean. No showers. There was some helicopter flying near, but that stopped by evening and really didn't disrupt the grounds at all. If you want to be close to Mt. Rushmore, as it is about 2 miles away, and are reasonably self sufficient you will likely find this a good site to stay at.“

“We DJ multiple weddings at Sylvan Lake, The Event Barn, The Game Lodge Pavilion, and Blue Bell Lodge! Seriously, no matter what your crowd size is, these guys will find a perfect fit for you! Oh and don't forget to call us too if you need Entertainment!“

“This was a great find right next to the Stables at Palmer Gulch where my family did a trail ride. We were seated right away by friendly staff and our food came quite quickly as well. The food was very good. Between our family members (2 adults and kids ages 17, 14 and 11) we got Philly Cheesesteak, chicken bacon ranch wraps, and a beer burger with a variety of sides. We were pleased with the convenience of being right next to the stables and the quantity and quality of the food. It sustained us for the hikes we did in Custer State Park. Our bill plus tip was just over $100 for the 5 of us.“
