“Grizzly Primitive Campground delivered exactly what I was looking for, an offgrid, peaceful experience. I stayed at Plot 11, which is conveniently close to the creek. The constant, soothing sound of the water combined with the natural atmosphere made it incredibly relaxing and well worth the stay. Just a heads up it's cash only, so bring exactly $26 for the night. Simple, quiet, and exactly what you'd hope for in a primitive camping spot.“

“The lodge is cozy and we often had the hot tub to ourselves. The lodge is dog friendly with so many great hiking trails right out the door. They have UTV rentals and have a great resturant across the street. We also saw the mountain goats on our way out of the canyon. Our phones did not work unless connected to wifi, which is nice to disconnect.“

“We loved our stay at Sylan Lake Lodge. It was quiet and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. All of the staff was very friendly and our room was clean and cozy. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will definitely plan to return!“
