“I had forgotten to make a review but thinking back I feel it was a noteworthy experience and I wanted to share. Presidents day had just passed, and my husband and I decided to stay at the lodge with our dogs for a few days during the week. we walked over for dinner, had small conversations with staff regarding lodging and our dogs staying with us. When we paid our ticket, they brought out a steak that had been cooked incorrectly in the kitchen and asked if we would like to give to our hounds instead of them discarding. Our dogs ate like king and queen that night! Thank you for the years of memories, can't wait for another season!“

The flavors were a hit, the creamy treats were just what kids and adults needed the night before the big day! Thank you for providing us with a great experience! “First time dining at this restaurant. Don't be late- 5 min grace. Our dining experience was simply outstanding. First and foremost, the service is unbelievably attentive and friendly. The restaurant's atmosphere is very classy and resides on the top floor of a historic hotel. It thrives in a beautiful art-deco/western inspired space which overlooks the main street in town. We started with the SD Chislic appetizer and immediately were impressed. This is a delicious pepper-berry angus beef treat that comes out sizzling perched atop fried scallions. Moving on to the mains, we ordered the Macadamia Halibut and lobster tails. Both, very good however the the halibut was the award winner of the night. This dish makes me wish I had ordered 2. The nutty crunch and delicate, moist fish bite is something that I can't stop thinking about. It's truly a phenomenal dish. The "spring roll" may sound odd as a pairing but it kicks it in high gear delicious as an accompaniment. Memorable restaurant for it's food and atmosphere! A+“

“I have since been back and I was pleasantly surprised to taste the burger quality has returned. I updated my state rating. Below is my original review.

I normally love the burgers at Culver's. I love the sear on the patties and the amount of salt they season the patties with. However, at this particular place, the beef has no sear and doesn't seem to be seasoned as much. They were good just a couple of years ago and I would frequent them weekly. But now, when I'm hungry for a Culver's style burger, I know I won't get that quality at this location.“

“We stayed at Mystic Hills Hideaway for 2 1/2 weeks (before Sturgis Rally). We enjoyed our stay. We had a great site. Shawn the owner was awesome… so friendly. We rented UTV & Shawn gave us great advice on where to go…Moonshine Gulch Saloon! Kristie in the Lodge restaurant was awesome and gave us advice on how to use backroads to visit places. Food was delicious… Shawn knows how smoke the meat for ‘ pulled pork and prime rib’!Campground is close to all the great places to visit. And we got to watch the cows roaming. We will definitely go back.“

“We were in Saturday for a late birthday lunch and it was absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal, everyone in our group loved what they ordered, but beyond that our server Austin was amazing. We were a little rowdy and he was great at putting up with our nonsense and was so much fun but also very knowledgeable and made great food recommendations. I had a burger that Austin recommended and it was delicious! We also really enjoyed the bar tender too but unfortunately I didn’t get her name. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!“
