Based on the reviews, Farmboy Kitchen is a cute restaurant with a great location minutes away from Mount Rushmore on a street lined with fun shops. The food includes a tasty bacon cheese burger with onion ring that is charbroiled and fresh, and fish and chips that were better than expected with delicious tartar sauce. The Farmhand and Big John burgers were pretty good, and the Mac n cheese dippers are available for kids. The fries were delicious, and the waffle fries were good. The cinnamon roll is outstanding and huge, and should be asked for warm. The 1919 root beer is crazy good and served in the can with a frosted mug. The menu lacks options for some, and the kids menu is a bit limited. Entrees are not bargain prices and overpriced for the portion size. There are no restrooms, requiring a trip to a public restroom. Service was good but slow.
