Great selection of beers and a really unique pumpkin ale that was out of this world! Tried several taps and loved them all.
Pet friendly, people friendly and a cool, comfortable vibe.
We will definitely be back!
We love to hit as many breweries as we can while traveling and this one is at the top of the list! We really like when older buildings are repurposed and this small, quaint building makes for a great setting to share a pint. Beers were very good, selection was great and staff & locals were very friendly. The Dark Matter RyePA is a must try!
Nick and Joel made me feel like an old friend on my first visit. Looking forward to coming back!
Excellent brewery. The purveyor of the establishment is friendly, inviting, and most importantly, brews great beer.
The beertender was so nice both times we were in, and even gave us tips for what to do/see while in the area. We loved that our dog was welcome inside as well.
Cute little Brewery in a historic building. Both the Hop Calamity IPA and 5280 Pale were very good.
Great variety of beer styles. Bustling tap room. Very welcoming staff. Give them a try!
Tucked into an old mercantile, Dakota Shivers feels like stepping back in time—but better. The atmosphere? Beyond friendly. It’s like walking into a family gathering where everyone’s glad you showed up.
The beer? Some of the most flavorful we’ve ever had. Each sip felt like a labor of love, crafted with care and purpose. But it’s the people who make this place unforgettable—the patrons so welcoming, the kind of folks who pull you into a conversation like you’ve known them for years.
This isn’t just a brewery; it’s an experience. A moment where beer and community come together in the best way possible.
I love smaller breweries. The quality is so much more distinctive. They have a great selection
Down The Hatch was spicy and delicious

Great place for craft beers. Awesome local vibe.
Friendly service. Beers were good. Worth a visit
So friendly,. Great beer choices. Fun bartender ?
Good brews in a cozy space.
Update five years later: I've tried most of the breweries in the Hills and DSB is still the best cozy spot of them all.
We had the flight and we could not narrow it down to any to eliminate any on our hunt to crown the Best. Eclectic mix of tables chairs and bar stools. The folks looked like locals so even if they were tourists , we were all treated as if we were home for the night. Loved it.
