Server and owner were both very welcoming. It was a chilly night and the fireplace made it feel cozy. The food was great! I love that they dont over bread everything so you can actually taste the food. I had the walleye with lemon caper sauce and it was light and flakey cooked perfectly and the sauce was nice and not overpowering. Definitley a nice place to catch up with friends over a good meal. Would definitley go back.

You have got to go!!! What an interesting and lucky find. Friendly staff and live music. The zucchini blossoms were something different & tasty. Wine was good. ;) The food was DELICIOUS. I had a steak with mushroom and Swiss topping (my weird request). It was FABULOUS. The blueberry cheesecake with white chocolate frosting and caramel drizzle was DIVINE. I'll crave that forever. Fun tid bits of decor popping up all over. Unique. Fun. Must go.

***Updated Review*** We ended up eating here three times during our stay in Lead. All three times the service was great, food was amazing, and atmosphere welcoming. We had steaks one night and when we ordered medium steaks, they were medium, which rarely happens. The steaks had wonderful seasoning and would definitely recommend. The third night was our last night in Lead and the waitress remembered our drink orders from previous visit. I simply cannot say enough about this restaurant. The owner is very personable and makes sure he speaks to his customers. I will definitely be back if ever in the area again! Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful dining experience while we were on vacation. ❤️ We lucked out finding this little treasure while on vacation. Food was amazing, waitress was the best and personable. Live music was pleasant, not loud and overbearing. I would recommend to anyone in the Lead, SD area.

This is the best dining in the black hills! The owner, wearing period correct attire was a perfect fit for this saloon ! Tremendous food choices and service. For some twist of fate , they had a guitar player and singer combo that was as enjoyable as I can remember. Honestly don’t pass this place up!!!!!!

We were greeted by a sweet, friendly lady. The inside is so cool for decor. Clean place. The fish and chips were amazing. My husband had the mole high pastrami and said it was awesome! Our waitress, Jessica, was so sweet, so attentive, kind and a delight!! Make sure you stop here for drinks from their fully stocked bar and enjoy the food too!
