Amazing chicken fried steak . Real mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken is some the best I have had in the 40 states and 4 counties I have visited. The bartenders made a nice drink too.
I’m here to give a major shout out to our server today despite our potato wedges being extremely overcooked.
She had a table next to us with a gal who was upset she had overcooked wedges, I was bummed too but I do believe it was all in the approach and overhearing the customer say “clearly I know how to cook” and then pointing to her overweight body. We went here for dinner before taking my recruit back to the base for his curfew. They were so kind and welcoming. Everyone in the place was kind and welcoming. The food was the best we have had all weekend and half the price we have paid all weekend. Definitely recommend taking your recruit there for a relaxing and good meal. Will be back if I make it back to Great Lakes.
