I love small town bars that have really great food. My buddy and I stopped here or their legendary fried Chicken for lunch on a Saturday. The weather was pretty terrible, but it was nice and warm inside. The beer was cold. And the food came out piping hot! Man. They might have the best chicken in South Dakota. Good enough that I would make the trip all 55 mi back to have it again. Service was great. People were really nice. Just a cool experience..
Amazing chicken fried steak . Real mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken is some the best I have had in the 40 states and 4 counties I have visited. The bartenders made a nice drink too.
I’m here to give a major shout out to our server today despite our potato wedges being extremely overcooked.
She had a table next to us with a gal who was upset she had overcooked wedges, I was bummed too but I do believe it was all in the approach and overhearing the customer say “clearly I know how to cook” and then pointing to her overweight body.
