We stopped in for supper after a long drive from Cody Wyoming. Staff was friendly and fun. Service was excellent hubby had the prime rib which he said was delicious. I had the shrimp it was crunchy and flavorful. Fresh salad bar was a real treat. Small town old time Steak House. Decor may be a bit tired but the food is Great!
Service was very slow, customers walking out due to not getting waited on

Buffalo Bar And Restaurant serves delicious buffalo meat and features a salad bar, a unique find in small towns. Their country fried steak includes access to the salad bar and a scoop of ice cream. Although service can be busy at times, the friendly and hardworking staff ensure a positive dining experience. The restaurant offers a variety of meals, including prime rib, chicken fried steak, and ribeye steak, all praised for being cooked to perfection.
The establishment is particularly kid-friendly, with a menu catering to younger diners and staff that are great with children. While the exterior may not impress, the interior is warm and inviting, featuring two dining areas and plenty of food options at fair prices. Although there is no beer on tap, there is a good selection of canned drinks.
Buffalo Bar And Restaurant also offers lighter fare, such as the mushroom swiss burger, which is well-cooked and not greasy, paired nicely with onion rings. They provide a soup & salad bar meal option, where diners can select from plenty of toppings and dressings. The restaurant is open until 11 PM, and guests pay at the register by the door on their way out, where candy and toothpicks are also available. With reasonable prices and a great dining atmosphere, this is a solid choice for local dining.
