Wonderful place to eat! Farm-fresh eggs and vegetables were delicious. Try the chokecherry jam!
The owner and staff were very friendly. The French toast is made with their homemade bread and was the best I’ve ever had.
Best canned sauerkraut and the canned pickles are from her garden

We bought the Southern Hills Dills and the pickle were so salty that we couldn't ever eat them! If I could post a picture of them I would!
Amazing breakfast. Great things that we ate - homemade breakfast sausage, sourdough bread, country potatoes. Ask for the spicy salsa, it's orange in color and very good. Also, picked up some of their jarred veggies. Worth the drive. Can't wait to go back!

One of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had. The bread was made there. Delicious dessert as well. They grow much of their own food for menu items. Highly recommend.

Amazing small family diner. I love the old farm house style, with the tilted wood floors and odd rooms tacked on. The service was great. Mom did serving, Dad did cooking, while the little kids played in the yard. There was a large selection of baked goodies and a wall of various pickled things to buy. The food was amazing, of course, just like a home cooked meal. I definitely have to go again, next time I'm in town.

Nice little diner! We stopped on way back from Angostura Lake and I found this diner on Google. It was a bit out of our way but it was well worth it! Small place but we had excellent service and great food! They also have canned and baked goods at the check out. We will definitely be back on our next trip.
