Been coming here nearly every day for well over a month and haven’t had a bad time yet! Nancy has been a wonderful server and the food is always top notch, definitely one of the best spots in Pierre.
Best burnt ends I’ve had in my life. Genuinely good BBQ, worth a pit stop on a road trip if you’re grabbing gas nearby. And a good value, too — not cheap, per se, since it is meat, but a LOt less expensive than the equivalent in a big city.
Having been to some of the great BBQ joints in this country (Salt Lick, Blacks, Kreuzes Market to name a few) any time I go to a BBQ joint outside if the usual places, I'm usually let down. Not so with this lovely establishment! The meats are smoked properly, and they use pecan, which imports a slight nuttiness to it. I tried the brisket and hot links, and also one of their signature competition winning pork ribs. All were equally good, and their home made sauces were up...
