“I can only speak to the burgers and fries. I have been here three times (once a year in January) and the food has been decent every time. Quite a few average beers on tap. Dark atmosphere with tons of screens for catching various games. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient.“

“I'm sure they do a great job all day long, but I have only been there later in the evening and it is an Oasis for a thirsty and hungry traveler. There is not much open in Pierre later into the evenings. Being able to stop in the Chuckwagon late at night and get not just a drink but some simple and tasty bar food is wonderful. Service is steady, friendly but not always fast. Hard to find folks willing to work late nights in a small city. The folks they have there are great and work really hard. I'm a very occasional out of town visitor and the times I've been there both the staff and the regulars were really warm and friendly.“
