Wonderful place to gather for breakfast. Food made to order and home cooking at its best! If you get to Platte don’t miss this hometown place to eat. Please don’t forget to tip!
The food was good, but the service was extremely slow. It took well over an hour to get our food and the place wasn't that busy. Our waitress seemed to be a little grouchy. If you're in a hurry don't go to Shorty's.

This was a wonderful, true diner experience. The food was great, and they served good-sized portions. The meal was very inexpensive for the portion size. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to eat with people you want to visit. ?
