I used to LOVE this place. Service has gone down considerably in my last few visits. Shame.
Family outing. First timers. Food has so much flavor. Yum yum..

Our party had ox tails, peas and rice, vegetables and dumplings. Never had Jamaican food before and can’t wait to go back! The meat was so tender and full of flavor with an incredible gravy, the peas and rice are unexpectedly flavorful and addictive. One member of our party has chicken that was also amazing. There was no heat to what we had but you can get it if you want to. The dinner itself is not “fancy” but it is really worth your while to give this a try. The staff was lovely and helpful and answered a lot of questions we had. You will not be disappointed!

The food was really bland, the jerk chicken had no taste to it rather than oil/grease. The cabbage and rice did have some light flavor to it though which wasn’t bad, the portion size was also very favorable so that’s a plus.

I just got the brown stew & jerk chicken at Summer Nights. My God it's so good! And the rice with the curry gravy!
I'm going to eat some of both and then take a nap!
Excellent food.

She knows her stuff! The food is outstanding! The Oxtail is my favorite (ask for the hot sauce. It taste great with a little kick!). I usually ask for extra cabbage and no rice/beans. She is very accommodating. The portions are large and the price is extremely reasonable. Very friendly and quiet.

The food here is amazing! I had oxtail, rice and peas, and cabbage. I cannot wait to come back.
We went wrong by only getting one plate to share!
Finding really good home cooking is so hard in this area of the country. This is flavorful and so so good. Met the chef and she is so kind!
Don’t forget to get a side of their homemade hot sauce ?
This was my first time here and I’m looking forward to trying her brown stew chicken next!
* came back again three days later and got the curry chicken. Loved it and the potatoes soak up allllll the goodness.

The taste is really, really delicious and feels similar to Korean food. Ox tail is truly braised ribs itself. I recommend it, but the store has a bit of an unpleasant smell and the amount of meat is a bit small.

They were out of several dishes since we dined later in the day so better to get there earlier and there are little seats for dine in so better to get a take out meal. Otherwise the food is excellent as always! Highly recommend the Oxtail! Kind and friendly service.
Parking: Fortunately there were spaces available at the time we dined.

Profoundly disappointing. Arrived a bit after 11:30, excited for jerk chicken and curry goat, only to find out that the only item available was brown stew chicken or else brown stew pork. Vegetables were also not available and neither were the dumplings. Basically, nothing was going to be ready before 3-4 PM. Should've walked out, but was hungry, so got the brown stew chicken. It was almost all bones and skin - maybe two tablespoons of meat for the whole dish. With almost no gravy, the rice and peas were bland. Note that this place has portion problems and seems to give women less than men (saw this while I was there). Several customers, upon finding out that nothing was ready, just left. Some others left when there was no acknowledgement by the young woman behind the counter (she was too busy with her phone). Pro tip: as a restaurant, adjust your hours if you aren't actually ready - those who walked out will be unlikely to return. Restroom has a key on a stick, which is somewhat gross (how are you avoiding spreading contaminants?). Overall, as much as I love Jamaican food, this place left me utterly disappointed.
I was looking forward to good Jamaican food, especially Goat curry and Jerk chicken. When we arrived the restaurant wasn't quite ready and only brown stew chicken and brown stew pork were close to ready. We were told that the other items would be ready around 3pm. The Chicken was decent, the service so-so. My portion consisted of large pieces of chicken and a good amount of sauce, my wife's portion was smaller, dry, and had little sauce. Mainly a disappointment, would not come back.
