Albertano's Mexican Food - Rapid City

Albertanos!!! I only wish I would have eaten here earlier in my trip, so that I could eat here AGAIN before I have to leave town! Language and Carne Asada tacos were amazing. Hot sauces were fire, FRESH chips and dynamite queso! I ordered for pickup - it was ready fast and the guys at the counter were super friendly. Adding this spot to my list of go to spots when in Rapid City!

The food is an 8.5 (at least for Rapid's Mexican selection), the service is fine, the atmosphere...probably leaves something to be desired but I don't think they're going for upscale. The prices are good for the amount of food you get as well. I had a couple of bites in a nacho plate that tasted of mold but the food is so good, I challed it up to bad luck and finished it anyway! A passing familiarity with Spanish will go a long way here as well.

Edit: stopped by again and nothing negative to say about it.

Got takeout here while staying the night in town. We got the veggie burrito, bean tostada and veggie nachos poured the salsa on all of it and they were all very good.

We ordered a beef bean and cheese burrito wanted nothing else on it had carrots and shredded beef and a sweet sauce not what I ordered ordered 10 rolled tacos there was suppose to be guacamole on them also maybe 1 teaspoon on five rolled tacos mostly lettuce I WOULD NOT RECOMEND GOING THERE YOUR ORDER WILL NOT BE RIGHT !

Get the steak tacos 🌮 🥰 everything was delicious 🤤

The food is good. With the exception of a few times ya have burrito and the majority of ur bits include gristle or a huge chunk of fat. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired. Seems like they spent 2 mins decorating the place. In addition there are no waiters or waitresses to get u anything. However there’s a line on the receipt for a tip. I question who the tip is for. The cooks should be making at least minimum wage. The girl at the front desk didn’t do anything except take my order. No body asked if we were enjoying the food or if they could get anything else. Not a very personable experience. Perhaps the new restaurant on Mt Rushmore is better? I don’t know haven’t been there yet. The place was quiet because there wasn’t anyone in there.

Stopped for lunch while driving through Rapid city and it did not disappoint! Authentic and delicious food, generous portions!

Menu is huge and food is good. Great chili rellenos as well!

Delicious burritos!

Drive thru says 11 but anytime I swing through for some good food “late” at night, yall always closing early. Change the time to reflect so a guy can eat or service til 11. Maybe turn off the Open sign if you’re not open but the lights are on & people inside at 10:48.

Good place to eat BUT my girl ordered the SHREDDED BEEF burrito platter and 1 time she got chicken. The next time she got ground beef and BOTH times she ordered shredded beef. Luckily the 4th time I made SURE she got the right food.
